All TV & film actors (I’m including the female version here) know where the cameras are. Most also know the difference between using that professional skill on set and the appropriateness (or not) of using it off set.

The car incident I'd give her a pass - even the Obamas got flustered when they had to get in the car with the Queen and DoE. And you know that they will have religiously studied the protocol.

And the always posing for the cameras - I think it was partly that she had trained herself for so long to be 'camera ready' / 'paparazzi ready' at all times - which to be fair is part of the job when you're a TV actress, so it's become an ingrained habit. I think she didn't really understand that being famous as a royal was so different to being famous as a celebrity.

I really liked her at first (loved her in Suits) and assumed that was really keen to 'learn the job' and fit in - I was really excited for the 'Fab Four'. As soon as they refused to live in KP and insisted on their own court and Instagram it was clear that she didn't really want to be part of the team.

Now it just feels like car crash reality TV and I can't look away!

I've said it before, maybe I'm oldfashioned, and am not religious in the slightest - but there is a certain form of behaviour which is acceptable in church. That is, you dress for the occasion, you are fairly solemn (unless a wedding or the sign of the peace), you listen to the priest and you generally behave. You do NOT dress overflashily, nor gurn, nor keep an eye on where the cameras are to present your best angle.

It's just about basic respect for the institution. And, perhaps also a lack of understanding the spirituality of the church for other people, and not 'getting' that churches (of whatever denomination) have a special atmosphere that most of us respect.*

This is the person who thought the church she married in smelt so musty she needed scented candles.
Also the person who converted to Judaism for her first marriage, than C of E for her second.
