But to reply to a PP: I do think Camilla is basically a good egg.

PC/Diana marriage was clearly a disaster waiting to happen due to the need for a virgin bride (ugh). Remember "whatever in love is" from the engagement announcement?

APB was a serial shagger from the start, I dont admire Camilla and PC for their behaviour during the marriage, but fair play to her, she puts the effort in to meet the requirements of the RF. And, I think she'd be fun to share a glass or two with - unlike Meghan.

And ( old glimmer alert). A cache ( no ay) is something hidden.

Nah, caperberries you're right. She loved the attention of being pregnant, and posing, and cradling her bump infuriatingly, and having a disgustingly over-the-top baby shower.

I’m not wanting to thread police here, I’m merely offering my opinion: thoughts on MM as a mother or H as a father (one who grew up in the spotlight, too) strike me as off limits. I’m the last person to get all preachy about motherhood (ask my children ), but whatever I am in my many guises as a woman has no bearing on my choices as a mother.

We’ve reiterated time and again that the couple’s own Instagram / website / words / actions betray them as this that or the other. Looking at their actions and words as new parents, I see a consistent approach to privacy.

Let’s just let the boy be, and let them be as parents too. There’s no need to go digging about there, is there? We have some standards, right?

We do have standards and they appear to include picking up people on their spelling. I am hanging my dyslexic head in shame and have asked for my post with the cache/cachet atrocity to be withdrawn.

I liked the matching reds, a deliberately staged image and it worked perfectly.

It meant that MM wasn't overshadowed by his uniform of course and was an equal part of the story. In any other situation we should be celebrating this, so why do I feel intensely irritated by her constantly bagging the attention for herself?

The last time apparently he can wear that uniform but she had to trump it.

salmons I dont think there is much criticism of them as parents is there? apart from the odd "I wouldnt leave mine on another continent" . Which I wouldnt do, but did leave them for 2-3 days for work in another country, with their dad, for which we needed the money - which seems unlikely in the case of HaM.

@LittleBearPad my thoughts exactly. Apparently royal diaries had been planned so Camilla's speech would get the most focus and the Sussexes refused requests to delay releasing the pictures.

It really cannot come soon enough. Those two are selfish in the extreme.

Their outfits are stunning tonight, and they do look like a team, beautifully co-ordinated. It makes me rueful that this wasn't something they wanted to commit to doing regularly for their chosen causes here. Only as 'private individuals' across the Atlantic. Ah well, we will soon get to see how that works.
