Let’s strive to keep on topic and not engage with posts designed to disrupt.

Yes please!

NumbersStation · 26/02/2020 10:50

I just made a thread 21 - and was instantly deleted - I’m not sure why.

Sorry MNHQ. I’m not sure what I did wrong. Sad

I’ll stay away.

PelicanPie · 26/02/2020 10:53

If there is any sniff of a bun fight the
thread will go, so leave them on the floor when they land!

Harry at today’s event

catinb0oots · 26/02/2020 10:55

Whaaaat? Why on earth was that thread deleted???

TheMustressMhor · 26/02/2020 10:57

Checking in, with a due sense of inevitability.

Tomselleckhaskindeyes · 26/02/2020 10:57

A new Instagram post has been uploaded. All the comments were very positive so I suspect a lot have been deleted. I honestly would not bother with the Instagram at the moment and do their communicating through the palace. Whatever they do will be wrong. Ie deleting or keeping comments. Either that or disable comments. I’m not a PR person

StartupRepair · 26/02/2020 10:59

He always looks so crumpled.

PelicanPie · 26/02/2020 11:02

He looks a lot happier today.

Just call me Harry. Is this a sign that he is going to give up everything or just a dig at the Queen.

Froq · 26/02/2020 11:04

Don’t stay away @NumbersStation

No idea why it was deleted.

Checking in, hi all Smile

derxa · 26/02/2020 11:18

Hello

Froq · 26/02/2020 11:19

At least he kept his shoes on for this speech.

Tell you what, it’s not bad working week - Edinburgh to London to recording with Bon Jovi at Abbey Road.

Wonder if it’ll be titled: Bon Jovi and the artist formerly known as Prince Harry.

Winterlife · 26/02/2020 11:24

@StartupRepair At least he’s removed the baseball cap.

TheMostHappy · 26/02/2020 11:32

Checking in! First time I've posted because the threads all move so fast I can't read them fast enough to post anything that hasn't already been said. The next few weeks / couple of months will be interesting to see how things pan out. I can't help but feel that M won't willingly be stepping back on British soil.

PelicanPie · 26/02/2020 11:40

I am actually fascinated to see if M does appear at any of the events coming up. I think it will tell us a lot.

OP posts:
IrmaFayLear · 26/02/2020 11:48

She's absolutely in a cleft stick. Not turning up, and no publicity, which is needed for their future endeavours. Turning up, and risking a cold reception and accusations of (in the case of Beatrice's wedding, say) trying to steal the bride's thunder, which she most definitely will, even if that really isn't her intention.

If I were her I'd paint a few spots on Archie and he could have Diplomatic Chickenpox.

drizzleborn · 26/02/2020 11:56

I've been following the threads and enjoying it sad the disruption causes deletions and would like for mumsnet to deal with those posters directly and not just allow threads to be allowed to spiral to the point deletion is inevitable

Waspie · 26/02/2020 12:02

I've only ever posted on two threads in this topic and both have been deleted in quick succession. Is it me? I am clearly not thriving.

But, as I've said on the two deleted threads, I do find these threads fascinating. The discussion about constitution, history and how the Queen's family tree hangs together is particularly interesting. I shall go back to lurking now.

TheMostHappy · 26/02/2020 12:03

Yes I agree - both about diplomatic chicken pox, and about not letting posts spiral out of control.

Everycloud12 · 26/02/2020 12:05

M can't win at the wedding.

If she doesn't go it'll be a snub. If she does, she'll have upstaged Beatrice.

IrmaFayLear · 26/02/2020 12:08

But as I said, if they don't go to anything, they'll be out of the public eye ergo no revenue. They are in a real conundrum. You'd have to have the hide of a rhino and balls of steel to stand on Buck House balcony waving after all this hoo ha.

TheMostHappy · 26/02/2020 12:12

But before long they'll be able to release some new pics of Archie for his birthday won't they. I think that's May isn't it?

theThreeofWeevils · 26/02/2020 12:17

Or, if H-as-she-calls him does attend the wedding and she does not, she can be 'papped' going about her business. Any upstaging entirely beyond her control, of course.

Neither of them being there would be the best thing, surely?

fearnotsnot · 26/02/2020 12:22

Hi all can I join?

I think Harry will be keen to put on a united front - to avoid people saying "see it's her that's causing the problems" - so if she doesn't go, he won't go.

I wouldn't want to go if I was her, it would be beyond awkward after the statement they released.
