But please let’s keep it as the reality-and-let's-avoid-idle-speculation-and-reliance-on-dodgy-sources thread (thanks Seneca!).

I wasn't going to raise this, but in light of the last few posts, I think perhaps I should. I think that some of the "engagement" discussion arose in my defense because I did not respond when a poster asked me to defend my feminism in the context of Meghan's engagement dress and then commented that I had not responded (or words to that effect).

I confess to a minor bit of snark in posting later that I wasn't engaging because I was at work.

I would just like to point out that I had made no mention on this thread or its predecessor of my feminism or the engagement dress. The poster was resurrecting a discussion from one of the deleted threads. So I chose not to respond.

Just reading the reporting on the Travelyst summit and it seems to be positive for the most part.

The usual suspects are focusing on all the white noise that surrounds him, but he has to be happy with the response today.

I hope that once it’s properly established there is some real substance. Im struggling to see the need for it in the market as there are already plenty of tools to check flight emissions, I can’t see the USP at the moment?

The news I've seen suggests it's gone well for him. The tool looks good, hope it goes well, seems it goes wider than just flight emissions.

JON Bon Jovi has said he came up with a clever way of addressing Prince Harry after he stood down from royal duties - calling him "the artist formerly known as Prince". Nice to see good natured jokes about it, echoes Harry's attitude today.

And I didn't realise Jon Bon Jovi was now such a silver fox!

I think the USP is that it's a central point for checking your sustainability score and it involves some major players in the travel industry.

If I may ask a question on one of the original topics though, someone mentioned that H&M also have Canadian security staff ... so I'm just wondering why they can't use those while over there, and Brit staff if in the UK?

Surely, even if we picked up the bill, it's got to be cheaper than flying our staff back and forth?

‘Call me Harry’ seems at odds with name dropping his title 22 times in that statement he released just days ago.

I don't think SussExRoyal Instagram Account Manager got the "Call me Harry" memo...it's all "HRH, The Duke of Sussex"... Grin

Travalyst sounds like a good thing, although the timing is unfortunate. The looming pandemic will likely mean travel limitations (ultimately maybe a good thing environmentally mind you!).
