Well here we are, another thread for those who wish to discuss. We are not nasty, but we do call account on what is going on, and and what taxpayers pay for.

annie oh sorry Annie you did put carmel instead of caramel, I misread!

Yes let’s go for salted carmel.

GoFiguire · 09/02/2020 18:46

Aluminum v aluminium

DandyDuchess · 09/02/2020 18:48

Well, yes!

7Worfs · 09/02/2020 18:57

Aluminium... love of private jets... (virtue)signalling... could this be another money spinner for H&M?

The first green private jet company.
Planes are luxurious but use eco-friendly fuel made out of vegan farts.

IsntCoffeeWonderful · 09/02/2020 20:31

The Methane and Hairy range..

plush toys filled with hot air: The “wannabe”, could be In the shape of a rhinoceros, or an elephant, (tough skin anyway)

And the ermine faux (of course, what else?!) fur styled lions, filled with salty tears: The Royale.
You could even make them with a snow/ sand globe inside.

Dongdingdong · 09/02/2020 20:41

So are they at the Oscars or?

DandyDuchess · 09/02/2020 20:42

Grin Coffee

Don’t forget the ropes, just out of sight, tethering they elephant.

yolofish · 09/02/2020 21:06

TBF, if I was up close with an African elephant, I would want it to be tethered/drugged/both. They are not known for their love of humans, or desire to behave - unlike Indian elephants, which have worked with people for thousands of years, for good or bad.

contents of the oscars goodie bags

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/02/2020 21:18

Well quite, yolo, they are not creatures to be messed with.

StartupRepair · 09/02/2020 21:34

My prediction for the Commonwealth event is very demure, very warm with William and Charles, very reverent towards the Commonwealth. It is not good for their post royal brand to look on the outs with the family.

EdithWeston · 09/02/2020 22:06

The Times is reporting that the Princess Royal has been given the Royal Marines. I expect that'll be quite a popular choice.

But she'll be 70 later this year, and whereas there's no sign she's stepping back, I bet she didn't expect new Stuff now

user1468785764 · 09/02/2020 22:09

I’m holding out tonight to see if they go to the Oscars. In two minds as to whether that would be good or bad thing. In one hand, would prove all the negative comments ... but, on the other, this thread would be on fire and I’d love the chat ;)

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/02/2020 22:28

Just some inconsequential chit chat - the Sun on Sunday is reporting that Harry underwent hair thickening treatment at the end of last year at a prestigious London hair clinic.

I don't judge him at all, and I hope it's successful for him, but I wonder if he would have bothered if left to his own devices.

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 09/02/2020 22:32

@Myimaginarycathasfleas I mentioned up thread that it could be one of his potential new business initiatives a bit like the rugby players and cricket players. Can’t you just see Harry’s picture on the tube ceiling.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/02/2020 22:34

Princess Anne is absolutely the right person for the Royal Marines. I'm sure they are sorry to lose Harry the Lad but she's the toughest of all the Queen's children and is made for the job.

DandyDuchess · 09/02/2020 22:36

Can’t you just see Harry’s picture on the tube ceiling.

alliwantisagoosnightssleep funny you should say that, as on the last thread I posted this Grin

DandyDuchess

Harry can do hair plugs/regrowth and Meghan can do teeth whitening and veneers (she has an awesome smile).

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/02/2020 22:39

So you did, sleep, I scrolled back and found your post.Smile

It would certainly make the Tube journey a bit more interesting!

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 09/02/2020 22:40

DandyDuchess

He looks so like H !

DandyDuchess · 09/02/2020 22:41

alliwant good call! And I agree, MM does have an amazing smile.

DandyDuchess · 09/02/2020 22:42

He does doesn’t he?! I asked DD to take the photo for me as she had a better angle. Didn’t tell her why but she said “he looks like Prince Harry!”

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 09/02/2020 22:45

In some ways it would be good if he did go for hair treatment. The royals tend to stay away from cosmetic work - perhaps it seems too superficial to them or maybe it doesn't set a good example not to be satisfied with your lot.

I've often thought the Windsor teeth would benefit from a little whitening, as they are very much a feature. Pretty sure Harry has his done.

Mummy195 · 10/02/2020 00:18

Royals stay away from cosmetic works?

Isn't it well reported that Kate has constant botox, hair extensions etc. ?
