A PP alluded to MM’s treatment of Haitch and this film popped into my mind. No reason.

I haven’t seen any proper evidence that M&M stayed at Serena’s in Miami so I’m presuming it was pure speculation.

The one time I hit "Post" by accident with a random "inside" in the box, it bloody well works immediately!

What I was trying to do was post this link to show Dandy might be right re M&MH at the Oscars.

Ok this is my M&H M&M design pitch:

Using graffiti style, turn the 2nd M into an H.
Make the packet half a Union Jack flag, half American flag.
Stick a tiara on the M&M character.
Have the M&Ms be blue, red or white.
Call it ‘Royal Crunch’.

You're wasted in whatever job you do Dandy You need a job in marketing.

(I'm guessing, though, they may start off with the flags being half-&-half, but give it a year and the Stars&Stripes might encroach a little more...)

Well I've never associated salt or salty with race. I've missed something if that is the case. I just vaguely remember upthread salty being mentioned. I don't understand things being described crunchy either. I admit I'm getting old.

We need a couple of Canadian flags thrown in to improve the optics.

No annie it was caramel I worried might sound racist, as it’s often used as a descriptor of someone’s skin colour, particularly someone mixed-race (like )

I hadn't thought of that but salted caramel is a popular flavour, not sure if it has peaked though. I put carmel as I think Americans pronounce caramel as carmel but it might still be spelled as caramel.
