I hope I've got what everyone wants in the title of this, the twelfth thread in the series.

I like PCs grin with the superstar Greta. She’s amazing, and he knows it.

I do like PC.. I feel he’s evolved tremendously over his lifetime... it’s not easy to be a full time eco warrior when you also have appointments tomorrow and the next day, and maybe late night calls with your struggling DS, (if he can sneak them in) and can’t just sail everywhere, taking weeks.

I wonder will they try and get the QE2 or whatever the yacht was called back into service? Not that you could sail to Davos.

I also agree with a prev poster who says the name Davos gives her chills... I get them too. Don’t know why...

Unfortunately Meghan is a damaged individual. But it's not her fault.

I get the impression that Kate does not make good friends very easily - like William she seems a little shy and reserved, and perhaps is concerned that people might be out to use them. However, I also get the impression that once you are Kate's friend then she is a very loyal friend and her friends are loyal to her (you rarely see Kate's pals selling articles about her).

Meghan on the other hand seems to have lots of friends - however there appears to be a big churn - ie that she has great friends for 2-3 years but then she changes direction or takes up new interests and sort of leaves her friendship group to join a new one. Given her career and interests have changed a lot she seems to move on to new pastures regularly and makes new friends. I can't think whether she has many friends who precede suits?

The royal yacht Britannia. I felt so sorry for HMQ losing Britannia. It was very expensive to run and was felt unjustifiable in the current economic climate but to see her shed a tear as it was decommissioned was heartbreaking. I think its time has passed, sadly.

How any of you on here can be happy with that post, I do not know.

I have an acquaintance that has 'new' friends all the time. She latches on to people that will forfill a purpose for her then ditch when they become boring or irreverent to her life! Once someone says something she doesn't like she turns it around to be ' their problem' not hers. Then rinse and repeat.
It's exhausting watching them and she is not loyal at all. It's always all about her and her needs and wants.

@GuytheBeagle Sorry to hear kitty is unwell, hopefully it's something not so bad? It's horrible to face possibly losing a pet (I sincerely hope everything is ok though)

Don't know about that, Charles truly suffered at his boarding school. I think there's a certain pressure not to be seen to be lording it over your peers (some of whom are titled, or children of hugely wealthy landowners, foreign dignitaries/royalty, or politicians) and getting special favours. Turning towards an easy way out wouldn't earn you respect although I'm sure attempts were made to ensure they had a close knit 'circle' of suitably connected friends for support (and to keep bullies out).

Unfortunately Meghan still has a lot of people fooled

With my cats , the hardest thing is getting them into the basket so that they can go to the vet's.
