Charles truly suffered at his boarding school.

He really wasn't suited to Gordonstoun. The QM didn't want him to go there, as I recall. And of course he didn't send his own sons there.

I remember him saying in an interview once that he had trouble making friends as a boy/very young man, because really nice people, that he might have liked to be friends with, hung back because they didn't want to appear to be 'sucking up' or because they thought he wouldn't want to know them.

I think his physical presence at Davos was as important as anything he might say. Newspapers will publish that pic of him with Greta that might not bother to report on his speech. So I think him giving his speech via Skype wouldn't have the same impact.

I have been on some of these threads and argued my point many a time. I have pointed out when I think posters have got it wrong, been unfair, made assumptions, been factually incorrect etc etc.

At least I report out in the open so you know it's me.
