I hope I've got what everyone wants in the title of this, the twelfth thread in the series.

I think that Harry would have married Meghan anyway, no matter what the RF said to him. I think they did try to dissuade him but were clearly not successful.

We've said over and over on these threads that the Queen has left the door open. That's all she can do for the moment.

Nikhedonia · 22/01/2020 23:07

Oh yes, I agree. PH wouldn't have waited like PW did. Also, fertility wise, I don't think H&M could have waited the same amount of time as K&W

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 22/01/2020 23:07

Young women trying to get a proper break in acting often have to resort to demeaning 'sex focused' roles or they don't pay the agency fees and the rent etc .

It's very sexist.

colouringinpro · 22/01/2020 23:08

More sympathetic to him after catching some of this on +1 than I was expecting to be.

NotEverythingIsBlackandWhite · 22/01/2020 23:08

I think NotEverythingIsBlackandWhite deserves a standing ovation for compiling that program synopsis!

Thank you. I realise I've missed stuff out like the meeting with her teacher who was obviousy thrilled to see him and other bits but hopefully I've managed the relevant stuff.

katiegoestoaldi · 22/01/2020 23:08

Never ever have I had such a regret that I wasn't born a fly and currently sitting on a wall in a certain $14million mansion on Vancouver Island

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 23:08

@TheMustressMhor

It happened to me too. It was a devastating two years and even though it was a long time ago, every so often I remember, and wonder how I could have survived. And more to the point I wonder how I could have been treated so terribly by someone who I had thought absolutely loved me

I think that is part of the reason why some of us are very invested in this thread. You can see all the red flags around the situation. (Narcissists follow a very clearly defined path) and it is just like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Discard Always happens with a narc. That is how they are wired.

yolofish · 22/01/2020 23:10

catherine yes, Harvey Weinstein a case in point. I dont think she's bad she did those things (if she did) but I wonder if H knew and if it would have made any difference? probably not, foofstruck as someone said many threads ago.

I think I said a little while back that M is a hustler, which works well in many worlds, but is not going to work with the RF.

"So very unlike the homelife of our own dear Queen" to coin a famous phrase which always makes me laugh!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 23:11

I checked @sussexroyal and there is nothing.
However there are a lot of tweets about this particular blog post.

fromberkshiretobuckingham.blogspot.com/2020/01/the-queens-contract-why-sussexes-didnt.html

The Sussexes barely got anything they wanted and overplayed their hand in their “leaving negotiations”.

GoFiguire · 22/01/2020 23:12

Thanks for the synopsis. Waves 👋 at the people watching us.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 22/01/2020 23:13

So sorry you've also experienced similar CurlyWurlyTwirly and TheMustressMhor

It's awful, yes you can't believe it when it turns out the 'love' isn't truly real on their part, and never was.

But at least we've lived and learned!

The Queen definitely did a good thing leaving the door open.

TheMustressMhor · 22/01/2020 23:13

@CurlyWurlyTwirly

Do you know something?

It has only just dawned on me that he has also discarded our DC, one by one.

The youngest was thrown out (literally) two months ago.

On a brighter note, I did meet DH Mark 2 and he is a very good stepfather.

I think they're lost souls. That's a very interesting comment.

yolofish · 22/01/2020 23:14

You know I may have misread that bit about 'acting as a prostitute and a stripper'. I kind of mentally glossed over the 'acting' bit - in which case I do seriously apologise.

JeansNTees · 22/01/2020 23:14

@yolofish The prostitution thing was for acting, and there were a couple of quite shots of her in the roles. It didn't mention yachting at all.

That is very sad. I’m sorry for your DC ....

TheMustressMhor · 22/01/2020 23:15

Goodnight everyone.

Lamb chops, broccoli in cheese and mustard sauce and saute potatoes tomorrow.

Needmorecaffine · 22/01/2020 23:16

I just took a look at their Instagram account. There are scathing comments about MM posting about an event today that happened two weeks ago. Comments saying she has posted to take limelight off Kate launching her Early Years Questionnaire today.

Not necessarily endearing themselves (H&M) to the public

Puzzledandpissedoff · 22/01/2020 23:16

A thoroughly sad, toxic mess all round, though TM came across better than I expected (and clearly has no intention of saying where Doria was for Meghan's teenage years). I don't like his chiselling for money, but H&M doing the same makes it harder to blame him

And I fully agree with Catherine's analysis of how Harry will struggle when he finally realises just what he's done

TwentyViginti · 22/01/2020 23:16

Didn't see the interview. Was the whole thing bad enough to provoke narc rage?

Jillyhilly · 22/01/2020 23:19

I am lurking and trying to keep up with these threads but I have to thank whoever it was posted a link to the A Very Royal Narcissist series of blog posts on narcsite. The incredibly detailed forensic scrutiny of Meghan as narcissist and Harry as empath, the wealth of evidence offered and the examination of the knock-on effects of this relationship on everyone around them - it’s unlike anything else I’ve read. I’ve spent the afternoon reading through them and it’s been absolutely fascinating. Should be required reading for anyone with anyone interested in this topic!

derxa · 22/01/2020 23:21

Discard Always happens with a narc. That is how they are wired. Unfortunately this is what is happening. Harry has had a temporary pause in the devaluation phase... for now. I realise this will be deleted.
It's frightening to watch it playing out in real life. I hope I'm wrong Sad

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 23:21

@CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook

Yes, the Queen was very wise in leaving the door open.

If Harry wanted to come back; there’d be no problem.
If Meghan did too, that would be #awkward on the BP balcony.
But better to keep her in the fold than out.

The Queen did similar with Edward and Sophie in the Early years.
Sophie wanted to work in PR and Edward had a production company which lost loads of money.
Eventually the Queen took them back as full time Royals.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 22/01/2020 23:23

@Jillyhilly
I posted the link to A very Royal Narcissist.
When you discover the traits; usually because you’ve been subjected to a narc, it is compulsive reading.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 22/01/2020 23:24
