So far, I just feel so sorry for this man. I expected to watch a tacky, brash slob on the defensive. There is still time! But I just see a man not engaged in a slanging match who was waaaaaaay out of his depth, who had no idea what to do next, naive about paps, given crap advice and then left to rot in a hospital, unable to even go home to recover.

Some of my sympathy is probably enhanced by the fact I think Meghan’s behaviour has been shallow, self serving and spoilt in the last few months. But I just wasn’t expecting to feel sorry for him! I thought I was going to watch it thinking “what a trashy beer swilling wanker.” And I don’t.

I disagree Mhor. I don't think the scales are falling from Harry's eyes at all. Otherwise why embarrass himself by threatening to sue paps over photos obviously staged by Meghan? Plus, he was smiling when he got off the plane in Canada (I notice they didn't threaten to sue over the photos of him disembarking the plane)

Now that MM has successfully isolated Harry, he will realise (slowly) what has happened.

He has invested so much emotionally in his marriage (as of course, he should) that it will be very difficult for him to work out what is genuinely happening.

He has listened to her narrative for so long. It is the same narrative that his mother used.

It's going to be terribly difficult for him when it dawns on him what has happened.

Blatantly lying about her tuition fees. I mean why lie about that. Either he's lying or she did an very shitty thing in that speech.

I must say he is sounding very plausible.

It's also no coincidence that TM was estranged from his other two children for years and apparently hasn't met some of his grandchildren

I didn't say TM was abusive, merely making the point that kids wanting to live with a particular parent generally doesn't have a bearing on how good their parenting actually is or how healthy that person is to be around. I also have seen just how normal an abusive person can look, and the damage they can do that goes unnoticed by the world outside the home. I wouldn't be at all surprised if my nephews go NC with their Dad at some point, one child already has. And I can guarantee you there's a number of people out there who will be deriding my sister for 'poisoning' them against him and how all of them are selfish wankers for turning their backs on him. That's how he's spun the narrative already.

I think it's unlikely her story is true about her paying for college, given when she went, where she went. and his much it costs. I think her dad will have paid off debts.

However fuck him about people owing him.

Several threads back it was shown that TM has met his GC. There's a picture of him with them.

He comes across as someone with a very low IQ

I think he might be right about Harry being too sensitive and not being a 12 year old anymore.

OK so TM is 75, so has been retired for at least a decade now. Living off his pension in Mexico would seem to be reasonable, except he's struggled so maybe he did take on her university debt. Only the 2 of them, and the IRS, knows for sure.
