Does this look a ridiculous baby sling or is MM cack handed?

This just looks really uncomfortable for MM and her son? Does she have it on right? I had one of those babybjorns and it seemed a lot of less strappy and one sided than this contraption?

Agreed Bluntness100. Perhaps she’s cross because the pictures show a huge baby who is way too big for the sling and looks likely to fall out. Get a pram! She’s posing really and she knew it.

MrsDoubtTried · 21/01/2020 18:39

it's her baby I don't care how she holds it 🤷‍♀️
Perhaps you should then. That is a ridiculous way to support a baby. Awful.

MrsDoubtTried · 21/01/2020 18:40

Lweji

tcrbiscuit, well, now it's only biscuit

Haha

MrsDoubtTried · 21/01/2020 18:41

Emoji gone?!?!?

Throwaway2020 · 21/01/2020 19:26

I think it’s ridiculous that people are so wilfully ignorant to think a snapshot of someone in motion is indicative of their parenting ability.

BubblesBuddy · 21/01/2020 20:22

The photos are indicative of something. Not parenting but of someone who is trying too hard to look normal with security guards in tow.

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 20:22

Why so obsessed with prams bubbles? Are you a sales guy for bugaboo?

The lawyer statement proves beyond any doubt that they did not call the paps.

No, it really doesn’t Smile

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 20:56

Why would you call the paps, then sue the paps?

BBInSleepsCounting · 21/01/2020 21:01

Not yet another thread about this?!

All seems rather mean girls, mean-spirited, harassing and obsessive trolling of a person, a new mum, especially now we know the photos were snatched by spying paparazzi.

SebandAlice · 21/01/2020 21:30

@LaurieMarlow
Oaky has lots of insider knowledge despite never meeting MM or Prince Harry. She also knows more than the rest of us about paps and celebrities despite never working in journalism, PR or being a celebrity. She just knows.

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 21:34

She just knows.

Ooh. I get it. Thanks for the heads up Grin

wowfudge · 21/01/2020 21:36

So much nasty bollocks being spouted as fact on these threads. By people who have no greater insight than the rest of us. It's sad.

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2020 21:47

I have insider knowledge!!!

It's called a bit of common sense, if you stage a papp then threaten to sue them said papp is gonna go batshit all over the media ...............

katee90 · 21/01/2020 21:49

Could she have loosened one side to breastfeed?

CallofDoodee · 21/01/2020 21:50

Christ on a bike, who fucking cares?!

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 21/01/2020 21:54

Its like the first time she was out with him and kate and children, was it a polo match?

Loads of threads on here with said fuckers commenting that she looked like shed never held the baby before in his life and how uncomfortable she looked 🙄

People are fucking batshit

Oaky321 · 21/01/2020 22:14

No need for the sarcasm and really it just shows you up, not me. All I’m suggesting is using a bit of common sense.

Threatening to sue, suggesting it, warning of it, does not mean you’re actually going to do it.

Do some reading up on how celebrities work together with photographic agencies in deals that are to the advantage of both parties. It’s eye opening.

Use your critical thinking skills, that’s all I’m suggesting!

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 22:27

All I’m suggesting is using a bit of common sense.

Nothing you’ve said on this thread has even been on nodding terms with common sense.

But thanks for the laugh. Wink

CallmeAngelina · 21/01/2020 22:43

If she really thinks that those photographers were hiding in bushes, then she needs to get some better security guards. Those two looked way too relaxed, given that the paps could well have been snipers.

followingonfromthat · 21/01/2020 22:54

That photo was clearly taken by someone hiding in a tree a quarter of a mile away.

FFS why can't the gutter press leave them alone?

whitershadeofpale · 21/01/2020 23:18

I don’t know if that pic was set up or not but:

That photo was clearly taken by someone hiding in a tree a quarter of a mile away. is just bollocks.

I remember the Beckham threatening to sue over the Rebecca Loos claims. A threat means nothing unless it happens, it’s just a way to try and shut down speculation.

Kokeshi123 · 21/01/2020 23:22

Slightly veering off the thread, but of course the baby isn't "too big" for a sling--in a decent sling like an Ergo or Beco, you can carry them comfortably up to 2 or so (usually in a back carry as they get bigger though).

The idea that slings are only for really tiny babies is mostly held among people who don't know about well designed slings and only really know about the old-fashioned Baby Bjorn type, which is pretty awkward after the newborn age because it puts pressure on your back and the baby dangles awkwardly. That said, the new style Baby Bjorn slings (which are structured more like an Ergo) are fine--I saw one on a friend recently and was really impressed by it.

Nothing wrong with prams either, I use mine all the time.

RonaldMcDonald · 22/01/2020 01:57

I don’t understand the need to attack a new mum all the time
I don’t get it
Unless it is jealousy or racism or a type of mean that is pathological

I also don’t get how mumsnet has become home to this
She’s just a new mother, in extremely challenging circumstances with a new baby
She is constantly criticised and lied about. The things they have said about her baby are actually heartbreaking
This is insanity
