Does this look a ridiculous baby sling or is MM cack handed?

This just looks really uncomfortable for MM and her son? Does she have it on right? I had one of those babybjorns and it seemed a lot of less strappy and one sided than this contraption?

If she is bf that’s perfectly possible for a baby his age ! Breastmilk can be expressed and then you go back to feeding yourself when reunited with baby he’s not a newborn and it’s actually not that hard you just express and freeze or discard when not with baby to keep supply up

DesLynamsMoustache · 21/01/2020 16:35

but surely you would just take the baby with you if you could

Well he's getting to the age where he'll be starting to get mobile so perhaps she'd rather not take him on two flights so close together! I went away for a conference at six months PP while breastfeeding and just pumped while away and my DD had expressed milk that I'd left behind.

But who cares if she's breastfeeding or not anyway! No one's business but her own.

wowfudge · 21/01/2020 16:36

I'm not surprised they don't want to be in the UK with so much drivel being posted about them.

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 16:46

I haven’t got a clue whether she’s bfing or not. And it’s neither here nor there.

But we can’t conclude that she isn’t because she left the baby for a few days. I did similar when my child was that age and pumped when I was away to keep supply up.

GrumpyHoonMain · 21/01/2020 16:46

Archie is huge. If you have ever seen a properly slim and petite woman carry a big baby you will find most will hold their slings like that - otherwise they wouldn’t be able to see where they are going

Lweji · 21/01/2020 16:48

Crown Biscuit, well, now it's only Biscuit

Settlersofcatan · 21/01/2020 16:49

I never said it was impossible, just not the most likely explanation. I am breastfeeding my own baby of a very similar age so I understand the issues - if I had to, I could leave him for a few days but if I had a nanny and free choice, I would take him with me.

It's more likely that she just didn't fasten her sling correctly

Harry and Meghan issue legal warning over pictures

DuchessofWoke · 21/01/2020 16:50

I’m more interested in the men who have to walk along 10 paces behind her on a dog walk. What a crap job.

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 16:51

So can we stop all the speculation that they were set up now? Thx.

Lweji · 21/01/2020 16:52

I’m more interested in the men who have to walk along 10 paces behind her on a dog walk. What a crap job.

Yes, I bet it's them who pick up the dog's crap too.

DuchessofWoke · 21/01/2020 16:52

I see they’re keeping up their war with the media.

Did nobody tell them it would be even worse once they were out of the protection of the royal family? I’m not defending this, but the gloves are off and they will not be able to control every image published of them. They seem to think they can.

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2020 16:52

I spose a crap job is a far better use of time than bitching on a forum all day

DuchessofWoke · 21/01/2020 16:53

I disagree actually. I mean, neither is idea but I know which I’d prefer - if I had to do one.

LaurieMarlow · 21/01/2020 16:54

I never said it was impossible, just not the most likely explanation.

Who knows and how significant is it really? The baby’s at a slight angle. So? 🤷‍♀️

Lweji · 21/01/2020 16:54

Maybe it's them posting all these threads as payback.

Roussette · 21/01/2020 16:55

It's more likely that she just didn't fasten her sling correctly

Yes, course it is Hmm
Let's not look on the positive side, after all this is Meghan we're talking about!

Bouledeneige · 21/01/2020 17:10

Yeah I noticed it looked weird. This wasn't a paparazzi moment though folks! It was clearly a set up piece Just like Diana often did. And thats why there's a tightrope to be walked when you do a deal with the media devil. You want media attention and then get peeved when they follow you around. There is something to be learnt from Diana's path.

Bouledeneige · 21/01/2020 17:12

Oh whoops I hadn't seen the BBC story about being spied on. As you were.

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2020 17:13

Well why is legal action being threatened

PortiaCastis · 21/01/2020 17:14

X post

Parker231 · 21/01/2020 17:16

The photos were taken without her consent - and that the photographer was hiding in the bushes and spying on her. Photographers have used long range lenses to try and get photos from inside the house and paparazzi were permanently camped outside their home.

Not acceptable by any element of the press.

monstermissy · 21/01/2020 17:16

As soon as I saw the picture I knew she'd be slated for it.... it's her baby I don't care how she holds it 🤷‍♀️

Bluntness100 · 21/01/2020 17:36

I said at the beginning of the thread as the paps were camped out there, there was no need to call them. It was silly to think otherwise,

They won't stop, because they are losing the protection of the royal privacy agreement that is in place.. All they've done is opened themselves up to more media intrusion. Way more. The media didn't publish the six week vacation pics last year because of that agreement. They loose that courtesy when they cease to be royals.

They can't afford to spend their life in court suing even media platform globally , so the legal warning is irrelevant.

As far as I'm concerned they should have known this would happen. The press intrusion would always get worse. The same as they should have known they couldn't work and still be royal when they pleased.

Honestly I'm starting to wonder what they are thinking, even the public know it's all fucking bonkers.

Throwaway2020 · 21/01/2020 18:28

Why is it that when someone constantly involves themselves with someone else, basically stalks them, spreads false rumours and makes the subjects life unbearable, it would be classed as harassment. But the press have the free range to basically harass famous people every single day? Scumbags. And anyone who thinks this behaviour is ok needs to have a bloody good think.
