…… with an occasional look at wild garlic.

Thanks to MrsHuggett for the thread title.

This is Thread Ten, unbelievably.

What’s that @TheMustress?

A Princess Kit?

SunsetBoulevard3 · 20/01/2020 00:17

When these threads finally close, it would be lovely to be invited for lunch by Mistress Mhor

CameronG · 20/01/2020 00:17

I just can’t see how his father could be anything but worried for him.

TheMustressMhor · 20/01/2020 00:17

all ostensibly with the approval of the rest of the members of the village council?

If by that you mean the fucking wankers who police the local Facebook page, then yes.

MaisWeee · 20/01/2020 00:17

@CameronG I feel the same. She's doing the typical isolating him. Leaving him entirely dependent on her. I really do actually feel sorry for the poor fucker.

MorningCalm · 20/01/2020 00:18

What an awful way to resign

NumbersStation · 20/01/2020 00:18

And we can dress in tweed and tulle for dinner. Tiaras optional...

MrsHuggettandMichaelCaine4Ever · 20/01/2020 00:18

@MrsBrentford - it's a steely look of 'you aint seen nothin' yet'.

If we knew then what we know now. More importantly if Harry knew then what he knows now...

and that carriage isn't even electric.

TheMustressMhor · 20/01/2020 00:19

No MrsBrentford.

Someone mentioned Essie Ballet Slippers upthread, which was as much a surprise to me as the random mentioning of electric cars was on the last thread.

So I thought I would post a link.

You know. just in case anyone was interested.

HMQueen has often said that those carriages they travel in for state occasions are very uncomfortable.

Shall I email her some links to electric cars?

This is where, him having his Mum for support might have made a massive difference to him. I could see her (Diana) tearing Meghan's hair out if she tried such a stunt! Diana was no whimpering fool! She came out fighting. She would have done anything for those boys. In fact she did.

MaisWeee · 20/01/2020 00:23

I'm sorry, but this shite about electric cars and garlic is a load of bollocks and rather annoying for some of us who want to stay on topic.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 20/01/2020 00:23

I just hope he doesn't burn all his bridges so he has people hanging in there that he can turn to if (when) it goes tits up. Because the mental pain after you are discarded when you've already given up everything is something else.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 20/01/2020 00:24

I imagine PC and PW have been permanently on the phone in the past couple of weeks to each other. I really hope William and Harry have sorted things out because Harry needs that hug William was talking about. He really does.

Since we live a good three hours from Glasgow you'll need to set off the day before the lunch date, unless you already live in Argyll.

"Remote" would describe it well. But West Coast Motors do run (very) occasional buses to our village.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 20/01/2020 00:25

I’m enjoying the banter. It lightens what is quite a heavy topic.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 20/01/2020 00:27

All this talk about wild garlic is making me hungry.
But I've found us an emoji 🧄
It could be our secret sign.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 20/01/2020 00:27

Harry is clearly already in a very fragile state. I hate to think what he’ll be like isolated, bored and in a foreign country in a few months with no friends or family to turn to.

TheMustressMhor · 20/01/2020 00:28

It was not I who brought electric cars to the table.

You have to realise

A It's a snub to Britain
B It's a snub to the royal family
C It's a snub to the Queen - she loses her great grandchild (probably saw it coming too).
D Prince Charles loses his grandson. Everyone knows that grandfathers are more engaged with their grandkids than they were with their kids
E K&W lose their db/dbil. No cousin for their own kids
F Britain loses one of our favourite royals
G This lad/man seems to be giving up everything for a woman

CameronG · 20/01/2020 00:29

I get that he’s a grown man. But there l is something very vulnerable about him. I really hope that he’s alright and we are just reading too much into it all. I hope she proves us all wrong.

PattiPrice · 20/01/2020 00:30

She may have another baby as a way of killing the media storm, it doesn't look good to be seen to be giving lots of bad press to a woman when she's pregnant and vulnerable

I think I must be living in a parallel universe.

Have you already forgotten how they WENT for her during her first pregnancy. The woman could not do anything right in their eyes.

From leaving her coat open/wearing belted coats/touching her bump/cradling her bump/touching her hair/her weight/touching Harry's arm/her fake smile/her overly polished grooming/flying to unsafe countries/standing too close to Harry/holding hands with her husband/her baby shower/the baby's name/the baby's hair colour/the baby's close together eyes/smiling too much/saying too much/being too confident and self assured/leaving her beloved dog in America.

It was and is relentless.

Sadly reading all the above seem to be terrible crimes that result in vitriol and hatred by the public and the press.

pastaparadise · 20/01/2020 00:30

in terms of another pregnancy, maybe she wants another child soon as
a) she's 38 so cant hang about too long
b) she loves archie and thinks 2 would be great
c) she doesnt want archie being an only.

Might not be for Machiavellian reasons. Just saying...

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 20/01/2020 00:31

So right MaisWeee

And she's giving up....? Oh yeah. Nothing.
