I know that’s controversial but truth is that Harry (and consequently Archie) was born into this family and as such they will remain targets whether they’ve stepped back or not.

I agree - in my opinion they should have security. Why would you revel in them being in harms way? I'm sure the queen doesn't want her grandson or great grandson kidnapped - that is not unreasonable IMO

Oh I think you're completely right, OP. I think it will take something momentous like the death of Prince Philip to make him realise what he's given up. His grandfather will have a huge state funeral but he'll be a bit player because he's no longer an HRH.

I haven't seen anyone say that...the opposite in fact, rather concern that might happen.
I find it interesting that they are reportedly at odds over where to live in Canada...very much what we have all been saying about different approaches to their 'freedom.'
Also think the emphasis on military events is interesting...I imagine that is down to disapproval of his actions from senior military figures, otherwise why mention it? Although I imagine it's mostly retribution for sacking off the marines for lion king!

No I think M&H have won. They have gotten what they wanted. This only really stops them from bringing out sussex royal tea towels etc but not from using sussex royal to get payment for giving speeches etc.

When Philip dies, Meghan won't even come back for the funeral.

That means no more curtsying, no more bowing. Harry loses precedence over those who are still HRH such as Beatrice and Eugenie.
