oh god the choice between a diamond foof and a tweed arsehole? Clearly the answer is the diamond foof, so much more comfortable for a start (never liked tweed, its all scratchy) and diamonds worth far more when one is a royal down on one's luck.

Terribly sad reading his speech. He's stuck now. I can imagine the military and African based charities have been hugely meaningful to him. What's going to fill a gap like that?
If I were him I would let Meghan go off pursuing work and I would be a stay at home parent with Archie. Quality time with his son is the best option. Plus (cynical view now) it'll be better for him if they do split down the line if he can show how important he is in Archie's life.
