* "I think Meghan may go for a “reunion” with her Dad. She’ll introduce him to Archie. It’s the only way of stopping him testifying for the MOS.^ At the moment he has nothing to lose as she has completely ghosted him*^"
Another excellent point from Curly. It would be the perfect opportunity to heal that breach, although they would both have to agree a truce on speaking to the press. I don't think there's any hope of reconciliation with Samantha Markle. She's turned out to be a bit of a Cassandra, but she's poisonous with it.
I came on to comment on this:
Apparently she referred to herself on CVs and other documentation as being caucasian for many years, but now suddenly she is pitching up in Africa and in London soup kitchens and claiming she is everyone's black sister and understands their pain. Because this suits her current narrative.
To be fair to MM, her acting CV at least describes the ethnic range she would be able to play, rather than how she identifies. She could pass as Caucasian, and that would massively increase the roles available to her, so I don't think she should be criticised for this.
I always felt uncomfortable with the "I stand before you as your sister" speech, because plainly she didn't. When she left that gathering she would have gone back to comfortable and safe accommodation with the finest food and facilities available. She did not, and never would, share their experience.
I think her intentions were good but it was a sound bite, nothing more. And she hadn't thought through what it actually meant, which seems something of a pattern.
