I asked for MN to put it in the Royal Family topic as the subject is no longer headline news; but still ticking along. I think those people who are interested will find it and add their comments regardless of its location.

The 80s were my era but for a lot of people they were not so good! It was an odd decade for sure.
I just thought Harry might be better taking to Kate but I'd forgotten about the arguments etc so maybe not!

There are quite a few negative comments on their Instagram post along the lines of “I thought you were stepping back, how come you’re posting?” And criticism of negative comments being deleted.

I can’t believe how ill judged it was, visiting a women’s refuge. nobody (presumably) asked her to, she wasn’t there on behalf of the RF so why was she there? think she’s getting some terrible PR advice and / or is deluded about the optics.

I’d say they’re all listening to him as he works through it now. He seems fragile to me, as someone said, “beguiled”. He really wanted what William has without understanding how William went about getting it.

But, you know, it may all work out in the end to everyone’s satisfaction.

I doubt that Meghan will get pregnant easily at her age. It does get difficult as time goes on and just because it’s what Meghan wants doesn’t mean Meghan will get it.
Maybe they’ll get a surrogate. (Conspiracy theorists, and self styled moonbump experts on the inter webs would say... again)

Or maybe she’ll figure a break from the RF would be easier without encumbering herself with yet more baggage to jettison.

Funny how everyone talks about Harry following his mother's coffin.
William wasn't that much older and had to do the same.
He was also, by her own admission, Diana confidante and 'best friend' through her turbulent divorce.
Not an easy burden for a boy his age.

To whoever posted that Diana was a year younger when she died than MM was when she got married how is that possible?? If you had asked me how old she was when she died, I would have said mid-40's!

William has been able to cope the way he has probably mostly due to Kate. She’s been a steadying rock for him with a loving family who treated him like a son. I suspect he’s had mental health issues himself. He still looks quite troubled at times.
I think Harry wanted to marry Chelsey but she didn’t want to marry him. He’s been envious of Williams life for a long while and was keen to find the ‘one’. It’s really sad that M is so wrong for him .
I actually do hope they make a go of it and it all works out, but I very much doubt it.

Meghan got pregnant within three months of the wedding so no reason to think it won’t happen again fairly quickly.

I agree with you regarding people always mentioning Harry following his mother's coffin, and seemingly forgetting that William also did.

Trauma like this is not always a Get Out of Jail Free card. Not forever. Everyone has to take some responsibility for their actions, good or bad.

Harry has repeatedly said in interviews that he is eco friendly like his grandfather nd, like his grandfather, goes round the house turning off lights.

Meghan has gone to Canada as she is sick of stubbing her toes on the furniture in the dark.

People are very forgiving and many do not have long memories.

i dont think PH and K were so close, like brother sister, only at public meetings.

Chelsy had her head screwed on and, I think, is extremely intelligent.
She would have been a good match ( although the intellectual disparity could have become a problem over time) if they were able to move to Africa, but not for the traditional working royal role.

The UK Secret Services must have carried out extensive searches on Meghan Markle when she began dating and quickly got engaged to Harry.
Perhaps that's the reason for the alleged falling out between the brothers, when William advised Harry to take things slowly.
