There Instagram followers have gone up, they are almost level now with W and K. I'm not sure their popularity has increased though given the negative comments on there, I think lots have people have followed to keep up with the drama.

All this will make William and Kate even more popular I think ! They are not everyone's cup of tea, but the public will get behind them a bit more now they are on their own and the Fab Four are no more. The ones that stayed and soldiered on.
If they can stay scandal free and the affair rumours are just that , they then this could work in their favour a little bit.

FromEden someone earlier in the thread posted that there was an increase in followers on H&M's instagram account and provided the numbers, I think they are only a whisker behind W&K now. However, I am not convinced that all the new followers will be positive or supportive followers and I suspect the numbers will drop off/people will unfollow as all this dies down.

I'm not on instagram either but I'm guessing you have to be to view accounts/what is being said?

I’m really surprised he’s not returning to Canada straight after tomorrow’s event. This will take quite a while to sort out, there are too many points to wade through and the RF doesn’t rush things. does anyone think it’ll be sorted out by next week even? I hope he’s going to spend the time here privately with his grandparents and other family members and friends though.

I don’t think he gives a shit about the titles and his place in the succession either MrsBrentford. He rejected the HRH for Archie.

I wonder which will be sorted first, Megxit or MoS v Markle.

I read somewhere he’s staying on for a week after the rugby thing, so he might have a chance to catch his breath at least and smell which way the wind’s blowing.

Here’s hoping the love bomb is found unattended, taken away and destroyed so to speak.

I agree, Diana had played all her cards out.

I think that the rift is due to William being able to see Meghan for a schemer & trying to warn Harry. Nowt else.

Harry could reconnect; it's not impossible to build bridges and grovel a bit! It depends if he wants to. If I were him I would head for Kate rather than his brother. She seems more level headed and sensible and they seemed to get on really well once : almost better than she did with William at one point.
He probably won't though. He'll go back to Canada and limp on. She might be different over there and a lot happier ; it could surprise us all that it works out!
I know that the Brits won't like him as much but that will blow over.

Sadly, I think that's unlikely Alsohuman as I think Harry's ears are closed. It seems to be confirmed that Harry is staying until next week, perhaps the Queen will have it all done and dusted in the quick time frame she wanted.

Why not spending time with Harry who he might not see soon for some time?

Surely they haven't already split & Harry will realise that he can't leave his family & duties?

we have no idea about a rift and they were pretty quick to try and squash that this week, although if the court case doesn’t go in MM’s favour its the job of a brother to phone up and take the piss (well, that’s what would happen in my family anyway).

I think this is true, and I think a few years 'off' in the countryside or in Africa, with a growing family, with just a few set piece Royal occasions, couid have made him very happy. I hope they do have a second child (they seem to have ruled out more than that).

I think the legacy of seeing the boy behind the coffin is that we want his happiness now. And perhaps raising his DC in Canada will bring that - I can see him being pretty good at the outdoorsy life with offspring.

But where would they live? Would they be able to afford staff if one/both of them had some form of work/engagements/appearances?

The80sweregreat I thought perhaps Kate could act as a broker between the brothers but, if reports are to be believed, there are problems between Meghan and Kate - apparently an incident at Kensingston Palace where Meghan bollocked staff and Kate being reduced to tears by Meghan's demands over the bridesmaid dress for Charlotte at the wedding.

and, yes, the 80's were great!

There isn’t much you can say to someone who has been brainwashed . He won’t listen I suspect until the scales start to fall from his eyes or she dumps him. I suspect it’ll be the latter.
