Don’t know why he’s so tired. I was out of the house to work at 6.45 and the lazy beggar didn’t get off the bed for breakfast which is most unlike him.

Sad news in the rum house tonight as a very loved friend died this evening from fucking cancer. However I ordered a Tesco Whoosh delivery of wine to toast my friend and it came in a paper bag so Vixen is happy. I'm sure my buddy Tracy would be laughing at my dopey cat if she could see her!

I can’t read the thread you linked, Shell. Difficult times with the ever challenging DDs, and DM is deteriorating fast. Thank goodness for the cats with their healing purrs and snuggles.

I don't know what we'd all do without the love of furry ones. Tracy was a huge animal lover although probably more dogs (and horses!) than cats. I didn't hold that against her though 😁

In happier news I had cuddles with Frankenstein earlier. He's been a bit standoffish over the last few days but earlier he came over for snugs and purrs. Toad tried to gatecrash as well 😁

Absolutely devastated by the TC news. I do hope someone on the Litter Tray can give him a wonderful new home.

Thanks @LostCats - we're all very sad, mainly because TC's dad has been such a great neighbour over the years - we'll really miss him (though we will of course keep in touch and visit in Germany). He's tried every option to be able to keep TC but sadly his new location would be much to restrictive.

I posted on the TC thread, and am a lurker/past contributor to this thread under NCs. Just wanted to say if a new MN home can be found for Thug Cat (sorry, he will never ever be a Gizmo in my mind ) I would be more than happy to contribute towards any relocation costs like transport etc.

Thug Cat is a MN institution and Grumpy's threads (and TC Dad contributions) are one of the best things about MN to me. They show such a lovely side to MN, such a fabulous community feel, and like the Playmo threads and Woolly Hugs, bring pleasure to lots of people. We aren't all vipers in an AIBU snakepit!
