Cats are awkward buggars.
I changed my bed today. A nice clean cream duvet cover. Now liberally covered in fur.
Sigh.

Lexter says hi to all his friends. He's currently lying down making biscuits on my duvet and generally being a love bug.

See that's where you went wrong. I now only use patterned duvet covers, as Boycat's tendency to hairball all over them didn't show so much. And yes I did wash them, but somehow it would always very faintly stain the fabric!

And you wonder why I used to say I wouldn't take on your horrible pukey cat if anything happened to you...! (Not that he was a horrible cat at all, at all; but he was very... leaky.)

Just very hairball-y. Oh and vomit-y in general. But the other end didn't leak!

Same here. Made a huge mistake of buying plain grey carpet for the living room. 😭

Sybil is out and about taking advantage of the very limited amount of sun we are expecting today.

Sybil looks magnificent in that photo, like some strange exotic beast. No wonder TC tries to woo her.

This is why we have a white cat.

All our previous cats have shed varying degrees of fur on our pristine white bedding.

It's my purple throw and I will cast scorn on anyone who suggests otherwise.

I always used to say "why don't cats come in Navy Blue." as I had a calico (white ginger and black/dark tabby) who managed to shed a contrasting bit of fur on everything I owned!

My NDN likes to sit in her front garden, enjoying nature generally, and birds in particular.

She's been going on about her favourite baby sparrow for a couple of weeks.

I don't think I'll ever be able to tell her that Linney dropped its dead body at my feet yesterday.

Oh Linney!! He looks so innocent 😇

Linney just brought it to you. Insufficient evidence that he was involved in the young sparrow's demise at all. No court would convict, even if it got that far.
