Vixen, Ghostie, and Lexter are on TC's side and think that monochrome cats are overrated. They say tabby/tortie cats are the best.

Obviously black and white cats are the best, because they combine the best features of black cats and white cats. However, tabbies and torties are gorgeous too, the sealpoint Truffle curled up on page 1 is undeniably beautiful, and of course all right-thinking people love a ginger. Other colours may also qualify.

The main thing is: cats, innit. Except I'm beginning to think robo-Thrifty was accidentally programmed as a dog.

I am servant to a monochrome cat - and three more which aren't. May I wander in too? I like the cushions someone's put out, I think my masters would be quite happy here.

My other (French) cat Hazel. Truffle is 18 tomorrow! She is actually a chocolate point but has got darker as she’s got older. Loving all the cat photos.

Sybil's beauty blows me away every time I see a photo of her!

I should have given a nod above to smokey grey cats, like No 3 son's wee Sophie. A very becoming colour. (No photos available unfortunately.)

Hmm, you may want to rethink that with a few of them - TC and Tobias coming to mind!

I may be able to occasionally stroke Tobias (but only when he's eating) but if anyone else gets close he goes full on "attack is the best form of defense" mode and his claws are like scalpels.

And just ask Grumpy about TC.....

You know, when I first looked at the photo, I thought there was a cat-shaped hole in a flat picture.

I didn't see a three dimensional figure with an actual cat sitting in it.
