Here he is - Barney https://www.animal-action.org.uk/?page_id=20. Look at the life he’s had 😢 I’m so excited, I’ve been thinking about getting another one for a while. Hopefully our 10yo will take to him once she’s allowed to remain Queen Bee - she’s hardly a clingy cat anyway. And hopefully he’ll take to us when we met him tomorrow!

DS6 has decided he’s going to be renamed Reggie…

lovely updates on here, so pleased Reg is getting some happiness in his life

He’s not where other cats would be a few weeks in but I keep reminding myself that compared to being alone in a room all the time, he’s still having a very good life!

We’ve upgraded to the poshest cat litter we can find, as advised on here, and he seems to be going a bit better with it. There’s still sometimes a bit of an accident on the way there but once he’s toileting outside that might be less of a problem. He know has run during the day of the middle floor as well, and while he’s still enormously skittish, he’s only running a bit away, not all the way back to his room. Get near him when he’s in a space where he feels safe and he’s all about the love then!

Not too bad - she doesn’t like him, but she doesn’t hate him either, which is the main thing.

Wow his markings are stunning, what a lovely face!

A wet but happy cat just came in from outside and is curled up leaning on me.
