T'was the night before Christmas
And all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse

A big fucking lie
And yes I did curse
As the noises from downstairs
Got steadily worse

At first it was thumping
I tried to ignore
Then a horrible crash
As stuff fell to the floor

"For fucks fucking sake!"
I got out of bed
"If that's Santa downstairs
He's gonna be dead!"

But as we bloody well know
That there's no Santa Claus
We all can be certain
The culprit's got paws

I went down the stairs
To check out the mess
And find out the cause but
I'm sure you can guess

Little Lolly Leroy
Was nowhere to be found
But there'd been a commotion
Evidence was around

Catnip had been scattered
And so had some fur
Then Leroy walked in
With a "mrrp" and a purr

He jumped on my lap
For a cuddle and fuss
I forgave him the havoc
Meowy Christmas from us

Wishing all the denizens of the Litter Tray (feline and human) a very merry Christmas.
My cats are clearly broken, nobody is climbing the Christmas tree or ripping open presents, so the best I can offer this evening as a card substitute is a cat snoozing on a chair next to the tree.

I’m offering a tabby faced with putting on a Santa Hat. You can see it’s provoked relentless seasonal cheer.

Have a Cool Yule everybody. All will be right with the world by midday as cats will have their new Mollys mice AND the vet has given permission for them to share a tune loin for XMas dinner.

Grumpy I adore your tree, just like we used to put up in the family home. None of that "theme", single colour lights, everything matching trendy nonsense. Just a big bushy tree with multi-coloured lights of different shapes, tinsel, loads of varied baubles that have been picked up over the years because you like them rather than because that are this year's scheme. And the owl is ever so cute!

I got permission to give a belly rub for Christmas!

Can I ask the advice of you knowledgeable feline friends please? My husband rented a garage and there was a middle aged female cat living in there in a bad way. We've taken her on and she sleeps in my summer house. The only problem is that although she poos in the litter tray, she urinates on the floor. She used to wee on the garage floor. Any suggestions to stop her are welcome.

@Mollyplop999 - try giving her another tray for wees, they often don't like to wee when there's already a poo in there (and vice versa!)

Merry Christmas to all of you and your cats. Frank has barely left the kitchen, despite being about half the size of the others, he ate most of the giblets and turkey that i put down for them. I must work on his sharing in the New Year.

Vixen is fast asleep with a tummy full of turkey. It makes a refreshing change to hear her gentle snores instead of my friend's pig-like noises that I've been subjected to most other years 😁
