Baby Sybil and Basil were beautiful!

My 3yo chose a new bed for Walter today. He's not been out of it since we got it out of the bag! Very, very comfy, happy kitty.

That is one happy cat.

@coastergirl I think you may be onto something. Adults overthink things. Children choose much simpler and your 3yo chose the exact perfect thing! Cats never like the beds we choose. Next time I’m taking my DD to get a cat bed!

Why do these things happen on a bloody Sunday? I'm waiting for 111 to call back as my wound is weeping and I suspect I'll be sat in urgent care for hours...sigh.

Vet, as he had a steroid jab. Thankfully my vet opens at 2 so I'm going to ring them then

Longer acting steroid and need to get a urine sample. She says it's either idiopathic cystitis, crystals/stones or an infection
Bladder soft and no wee in it

I will be surprised if it's crystals as he's weeing lots, drinks well and doesn't eat any dry food

Matt is now after his bladder problems. He seems to like the Hills urinary tins and pouches.

Infection developing so I'm on antibiotics. Could have done without hours up at hospital but hopefully we caught it before it has got hold.

Recovery wishes to Ollie and Papergirl1968. Walter looks very happy in his new bed.

Great news @Papergirl1968 about the tumour, I hope you recover quickly from the infection.

Ollie, stop worrying your mum with the UTIs. Favourite cat used to get them regularly so I would feed him pouches in the bathroom with the door closed so the rest of the tribe couldn't take the food from him.

Fred is most annoyed as Frank has stolen his cat bed. There are a million other cat beds, sofas, normal beds in the house but Fred is being a drama queen and lying on the floor in protest. His brother gives no fucks.
