Oh I do love that, Florissant. And Supersimkin2's Matt as Gloria Swanson comment. And the fantasy water feature. I sometimes cat sit for some friends' cat. She has a white plastic water feature. It's really badly designed and is quite fiddly to refill.

Your boys are amazing, Cheeseybeans. Are they a particular breed? They look soooo cuddly!

He gets enough "proper" cat food for the taurine and stuff but he's got steroid HANGER
By that I mean he's eaten 400g of cat food today and is eyeing up my tea as a light snack

Yes you can, sounds sensible.
Or, if Ollie prefers it you could add cooked meat rather than raw. Ours all go mad for cooked chicken.

He loves raw had half a chicken breast the other day when I was cooking

He doesn't even weigh 3kg and has eaten 4 pouches today plus some turkey mince I gave him

I've no objection to feeding him more but my bank account does
It was nearly £1 a pouch and at 4 a day....

This one weighs 6.5 kg and eats for Scotland.

And this one pops round every day looking through the window and occasionally getting some Dreamies.

Slowly, Paper, slowly!

I'm going in 3-4 times a day to chat to him & read, and at least twice of those times I take in half a Webbox chewy stick broken up into little pieces. I put these just inside the igloo which seems to be his daytime haunt & he eventually eats them when he thinks I'm not looking. He HAS sniffed at my finger a couple of times, which is progress.

Girlcat has been in the room a couple of times but not ventured far in, sniffing like mad. He was in the igloo yesterday so she didn't see him, but this morning he was under the towel shelving and I think they saw each other at a couple of feet distance. No comment from either, then she left the room.

Back has just about recovered. How are you getting on recovering from the op?

Thinking of Ollie's weight, FWK took his for their 1 year old MoT yesterday. They are maybe half a kilo overweight according to the vet, but all the same Tally is 6.6kg - and his brother is 7.2kg! At one year old! They are BIG cats.

Go glad you're both ok, and that Tobias is doing well. It all sounds pretty pawsitive.
I feel like a new woman. Bit tired from time to time but Monday was a turning point for me.
I must no longer smell of the human vet as Matt enjoyed cuddles, and of course the chance to piss off the dog!

Just managed to catch Walter doing his stinky face after intensely sniffing a blanket. Photo doesn't fully capture the open-mouthed hilarity really. It's the perfect expression to match his tiny little brain. 💙

Paper I can't believe how well you look after brain surgery! Amazing.
