Matt sounds a bit like Boycat was - he would try to turn round on the windowsill & fall off. Cue mad scrabbling sounds as he would slide down the radiator, vanish under the bed then a few moments later saunter out of the room trying to style it out. But his record was only twice in one session.
How are you feeling today anyway? Nurse Socks and entertainer Matt seem to be looking after you OK anyway - and you do know it's been proven that a cat's purr speeds up healing? Keep that heating on, wrap yourself up comfortably & remember that you may not feel very hungry but you need sustenance to heal properly. And don't forget plenty of fluids - a nice mug of hot chocolate with extra sugar will give you energy AND protein from the milk 😉
How's the lovely Ollie this morning Rebel?
Yes I will spend time in there reading, have charged the Kindle & will probably comment on the book out loud so he gets used to my voice. He's now found a good hiding place on top of towels, floor level on the bottom shelf of the big rack type thing. He's positioned himself so he has a view of the whole room, but if he shuffles back a bit he's behind where I left the carry crate so can be a) more hidden and b) out of reach (not that I'll try to touch him ofc). He can look out, I can see that he's there watching me suspiciously when I come into the room to feed, clean the tray etc. Girlcat has finally given up trying to come in with me for now.
DBro & DSil are coming round later with the introduction cage, though I haven't managed to rearrange the living room yet so it fits where I want it. But after getting things ready for Tobias over the last couple of days my back has seized solid & just bending down to clean the trays was agony, so don't think that will get put up today. Taken max painkillers so functioning OK for normal stuff, but definitely NOT up to shoving furniture around!
