Photo didn’t post

Love that picture of them, Rebel.

Leroy is not talking to me. I've been given another role at the school for a while, but with regular hours. The poor sod had to survive 5 1/2 hours without me.

It's for his benefit - Dreamies aren't cheap. Although B&M are currently selling Catisfactions (Dreamies international branding I think) for 85p a packet. I've told him we'll get a heated throw too.

Supersimkin2 · 16/01/2023 17:33

That’s a serious conflict situation Yes but you’ve come up smiling with a fine petcare solution.

Even if Leroy is outraged you’re allegedly neglecting your duties as his attendant standing by in the corner of the room
while he naps, well done on the job. Even better done in the heated throw - they’re superb.

I’ve left the electric blanket on since yesterday. Friends popped in and took offence Prince didn’t appear to say hello. Ditto NDN. No dice. No cat. Just found HRH and peeled him off bed to flick the switch. He was limp and runny, carefully replaced on hot patch.

Allergictoironing · 16/01/2023 17:57

I may well have to start leaving the electric blanket on all day if it keeps getting colder here. Currently on for 2 hours three times a day - twice for them, once for me (though Boycat takes advantage of the 8-10 session as well).

Squidge and her magnificent top left eyebrow whisker in full back of sofa lounging mode.

I shut the window at about 3, thinking paws had left (I'm sure I saw him leave)
Finished work and fell asleep
Just woke up and he strolled out the hallway into the living room Confused
Maybe he's figured how to walk through walls now

Florissant · 16/01/2023 20:02

Maybe Paws has found the portal to another dimension.

I wouldn't put it past him... he's probably built a tunnel somewhere

YetAnotherSpartacus · 17/01/2023 00:27

I was sure this was going to be about TC.

Papergirl1968 · 17/01/2023 01:06

I'm in A&E, having had two seizures and banged my head. Have had it cleaned and glued, and now waiting for CT scan and blood test results before I can go home.
Glad I have all your kitties to keep me company.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 17/01/2023 01:22

@Papergirl1968
Hope you're not stuck in a&e for too long.
Here's to a quick recovery for you.

nettie434 · 17/01/2023 03:11

Sending you good wishes Papergirl1968. Hope you feel better soon. Will you be able to get home ok?

Supersimkin2 · 17/01/2023 05:43

You doing ok Paper? How miserable for you 💐 🍫 💐 What a crappy January you’re having.

Sit tight and concentrate on getting home and into the pit with Matt. Furry hug 🐾

iloveeverykindofcat · 17/01/2023 05:53

Zara's got a weird raised scab/hard lump where she had her booster injection. Has anyone seen this before? Its not bothering her, she's fine, but its a bit concerning to see.

LostCats · 17/01/2023 07:42

I hope the CT went well and you’re ok this morning Paper

Had this before, not unusual and it normally goes down after a few days.
Usual advice though - keep an eye on it and if it grows, starts to weep, is bothering Zara etc. go to the vet.
Don't wish to be a scaremonger but a previous cat of mine developed a lump at the injection site which grew and ended up needing surgery to remove it.

@Papergirl1968 hope you're doing better this morning and benefitting from some kitty cuddles

Papergirl1968 · 17/01/2023 11:12

Got home 4am by taxi so only just getting up. I'm ok thanks, other than moving like I'm about 90. Had a good sleep and lovely kitty cuddles, and doc advised a couple of days off work to rest, so I plan to do just that.
