I don't think I've got proper cats. None of my cats has ever hidden in a Christmas tree. The best they do is to knock off low hanging baubles and play football with them.

A terrifying crash and arctic blast preceded the arrival of Havelock through my bedroom windows in dead of night. Completely invisible cos he’s so dark - even in daylight in your field vision he looks like a cat-aract.

He ate Prince’s midnight snack - so I knew it was him - lots of purry munching and tinkly collar bell clattering - accepted a treat flung groggily from the blankets, and vanished.

None of my cats has ever hidden in a Christmas tree

Neither have any of mine, but this one, the late, great Toby, who went OTRB three years ago, used to shit in the earth in the stand for the Christmas tree.
He was only a young kitten and he was our first cat, and it took us a while to figure out what the terrible smell was.

This is Goliath, planning to knock down the Christmas tree.

Ah Pelo, wait until he's poorly.I've had a heated pad for ages, no interest whatsoever. Today she is poorly (bitten leg, vet thinks cellulitis, antibiotics and painkillers) and it is acceptable!

Love photos of cats in Christmas trees. Wish Walter would do it. Although I haven't even put mine up yet. I'd happily ignore Christmas this year if I could get away with it.
