I'm going with he wants prawns AND the heating on

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 15/11/2018 15:03

So he's playing me TWICE. Plain bread and butter is quite nice actually Grin

cozietoesie · 15/11/2018 17:20

I was going to say 'playing you'......😄

Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 17:42

I've never tried Ollie with prawns Blush neglected cat
He's enjoying the haul of soups I got from poundstretcher, think I will go back for more given it was about £1 for 5

Definitely scuttle back, that's only 20p a pouch. Sometimes one sees Gourmets in tiny tins (you know how cats love a tiny tin) for 3 for £1. If you're a coffee drinker, the red packet of ground coffee is a winner, people rush off squealing with it in crates.

Prawns = rod for your own back.

I am watching Louis Theroux's show on polyamory ie open marriages. Considering I feel shifty if I even look online at Battersea Cats pages on behalf of my cousin, I think Mr C is safe from any 'opening' of our arrangement. He would be livid.

However, I note my pet likes being cuddled by other people. He upholds the highest double standards Grin

Allergictoironing · 15/11/2018 18:58

I tried mine on prawns - got the "what the hell is THAT!" look and stalking off in high dudgeon from both Grin

cozietoesie · 15/11/2018 19:50

You probably made the mistake of offering them. Try leaving around as if you were going to eat them next time. 🙂

LanaorAna2 · 15/11/2018 20:28

How and where is PB?

Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 20:45

Yes, PB update needed!
Diet day here, 2 pouches and a soup

cozietoesie · 15/11/2018 21:27

PB is up in his room. He's been down to have Treats On Bed.😃

Allergictoironing · 15/11/2018 21:36

The only things mine will take without being offered directly is food in their bowls (only real cat food or tuna) and any left over Dreamies on the bedside table. I can leave a plate with fresh roast chicken, baked fish, beef in gravy etc on a plate on the sofa and it won't be touched. Before they brought out Dreamies in tubs, I would have an open bag on the coffee table that they didn't go near overnight.

I'm not sure they are really cats! Grin

LanaorAna2 · 15/11/2018 21:59

A that's really impressive good behaviour.

Treats on bed....niiiiiiiiiiiice :) Er, 'his' room? Are you allowed in, should you wish to seek audience?

Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 22:13

Fatty is luxuriating on me. For a small cat he takes up a LOT of room. He will have to shift as 55hrs of work has made me need an early night

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 15/11/2018 22:15

55?

cozietoesie · 15/11/2018 22:16

I'm allowed in. 🙂

LanaorAna2 · 15/11/2018 22:24

Just you in the boudoir eh. This raised a snort here.

PB, some Ginge love and a LWT
Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 22:39

cozie - yep. Not in a day obviously Grin

LanaorAna2 · 15/11/2018 23:36

Have a good kip O you need it. Watch that back.

We've just performed the Ceremony of Two Pills, both triumphant. After Attempt 7 I nearly snapped at Mr C but flung a pill into myself - nicotine tic-tac - and lit a fag simultaneously, harmony restored.

Guess who's now indignantly eyeing up the special White Dreamies and demanding they're shared.

Ollivander84 · 16/11/2018 07:31

My FT job offered me a 40hr contract so I took it (then I can give up my PT job) but the PT one needs 4 weeks notice so I've ended up doing both

Just rounded Ollie up from the sheltered housing across the road. He's come ambling in like Kevin the teenager, screeching about how unfair I am Grin

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/11/2018 08:41

Is your FT job the one you prefer Ollivander?

Of course you are unfair - by definition.

Ollivander84 · 16/11/2018 09:39

Yes, and it pays more. Full time I work for jaguar Land Rover, part time I'm a home carer/support worker so min wage for that one

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/11/2018 09:40

Oh, wonderful! Well done!

LanaorAna2 · 16/11/2018 11:33

That is brilliant, well done O. I went on min wage when I worked for a charity & it's always good to escape Grin It's a disgrace carers get only NMW, in London you get quite good money.

In terms of marketing, Jaguar need a feline mascot. Obviously that position would be very highly paid, with all fat cat benefits.

Ollivander84 · 16/11/2018 11:42

Ollie suggests he could happily live in Jaguar luxury

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 16/11/2018 18:28

Well done O, I’m so pleased you don’t have to do two jobs anymore.

What’s your job title at Jaguar? A lot of the salesman dh works with are leaving for jag.
