Definitely. One of the women at our stables was murdered, TV programme about it - Sadie Hartley. Absolutely shocking
Ollie says I don't need to look at the carpet, I should be gazing at him

OMG was that your stables? Poor all of you. The killer put her friend, who was short of a marble or two, up to it. I'm going to watch the programme now to take my mind off downstairs!! Otherwise all we tenants are doing deep breathing exercises when we get in past the hall, I kid you not.

Does anyone think cats can get eczema? Two Pills is agitating about his ear. I've had a look and it's just a bit pink, suggesting not mites.

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 10:16

It was, she was at the stables the night she was killed Sad

Cats can get eczema - some special cat form of it.
Thought mine had it but on observation turned put the be a heat rash from lying too close to the heater...

LanaorAna2 · 14/11/2018 13:29

Thanks. His ear keeps going inside out, like cat origami.

Oh wail, time to phone Nurse Lee.

LanaorAna2 · 14/11/2018 15:00

I think he's got earache as well. He's purring but he won't let me near the ear so I can tell Nurse Lee what ails his favourite patient. Vet Google says allergy.

Weezol · 14/11/2018 15:20

I have a bit of a crush on Nurse Lee.

My lass has ishoos due to a difficult (horrible) youth before coming to me, so every time we go in a car she gets properly upset and is consequently a bit violent frisky with the vet. I would love her to have a Nurse Lee who properly 'gets' her.

LanaorAna2 · 14/11/2018 15:49

I too am hoping Nurse Lee 'gets' me - wearing nothing but a pink ribbon for Xmas Grin

Your poor lass, hating the vet. So does PB. Mr C isn't that well behaved, to be honest. It does get easier with time, though. Unless you're Ollie and always sick on Ollivander.

cozietoesie · 14/11/2018 16:29

PB was OK when he actually arrived at the vet. (Getting him there is a tad problematic, though.)

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 16:38

Ollie will be raging tonight. Left home at 7.15 and off to second job so won't be home until 9.30pm
He might be tapping his paw on the clock and withering from hunger HmmGrin

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 14/11/2018 17:22

I thought he had dried food available?

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 17:48

He does. Apparently dry food is irrelevant. I got a very dramatic wilt on video yesterday at the thought of no supper

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 14/11/2018 17:53

Ha. You're 'under the paw'! 😃

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 18:28

Hungry Hmm

If you weren't there, what would he be doing? 😀

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 18:40

Pulling back the blind with his paw to rubberneck at people/DAWGS/random stuff
Snoring
Drooling on himself
Hiding my hair bobbles
Sleeping
Trying to open the food cupboard
Clambering the windowsill repeatedly for a different view (see point 1)
Sleeping on something expensive/sheer/that I don't want full of cat hair
Wailing at himself in the mirror with squinty eyes...

Singing 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner' at full pelt to the terrified neighbours? Grin

Ollivander84 · 14/11/2018 18:42

I mean if you squint you might vaguely make a rib out Grin

Don't get me started on the neighbours. Small child keeps coming round to see him. She picks him up (even I can't do that!!) and goes "oooh Lolly! You HEAVY!", drags him over to the chair and then cuddles him and sings at him. He sits there blinking and purring at her for ages
Me and her mum are HmmHmmHmm because they have two cats but she's decided Ollie might be lonely Grin

Grin Mr C doesn't believe in men having waists, unmanly, he maintains.

Small child is clearly a Lady of the Litter in the making. What a splendid example of modern youth at its finest - might there be a little bit of further training needed to finesse the skills of this exceptional young woman

LanaorAna2 · 14/11/2018 19:16

I could offer a finishing school second to none in exclusive south London, virtually identical to the establishment in Vanity Fair except the murders.

A haven of refinement, Ecole de Madame Lana and her able principle, French Master Monsieur C, will cover all the essential pet requirements a young lady requires, such as lifting and deportment, the arts of social intercourse, catering, pet & personal grooming and getting sick off the carpet in a hurry.

Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 09:06

No paw tapping last night, just sheer joy I had come back. Head bops and shouts of mama all around Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 15/11/2018 10:04

I think I love Ollie all the more now.

Ollivander84 · 15/11/2018 10:51

Sometimes I have to tell him the story of "how I am mamas cat forever and ever" Grin💗

Sometimes I have to tell Mr C the story of 'how rejecting three types of wet and one dry does not get you every prawn in Mama's sandwich'.

Even tho it does, to be honest. He's actually sitting on it now - he furred up against the packet and rolled over onto it. He looks a bit limp and isn't fancying food (except presumably prawns) but I am holding out.

I can't tell if he's a) ill b) playing me c) stunned by the central heating that has come on full. Answers on a postcard welcome.
