Get him back?

cozietoesie · 03/08/2018 00:35

.........for that bit only, of course.

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 00:35

I'll evaluate in the morning. Hard to tell as carpet still wet! Luckily it had a stain treatment thing on it, it's a decade old now but I discovered when I spilt Vimto on it and it all balled up like magic Grin and I just blotted it up

Cat sick can be impossible because of the food dyes, sniff. This is gross but effective: leave the patch of shame to dry, then peel it off with something with a sharp edge like a wallpaper scraper. Hoover insanely, in a bad mood. Only then get the patch wet with the Vanish, etc.

Ewww, sorry about that first thing in the morning but it works. I've got brown carpets now, my tolerance is low. And a lot of experience :)

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 09:40

I have high hopes as the food he's been on is literally just chicken breast!

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 03/08/2018 14:27

Typical :)

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 14:40

Carpet stain remover ordered Hmm
Bad cat

Once you've got a pot of that he'll never throw up again.

I am entertaining all my elderly relations to a picnic tomorrow, Sizzlin' Saturday. So far I have cooked a chicken, made a cake, and blitzed up cucumber lemonade. It's not appropriate to douse the over-85s with alcohol in this heat, I say. The five gin-in-a-tins in my handbag? Who knows who's having them. Grin

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 22:41

Not sure what he wants but appears to be demanding something Confused

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 22:44

I suspect his brain is more "food. Human. Cuddles. Nap naps"

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/08/2018 22:48

Try the Cuddles bit. Grin

"Austria. Poland. Belgium. See that nasty Churchill off. Not my prime minister. See that horrible Stalin off. Not my Comrade.

"France. England. Road north. Find Ollivander. Cuddle. Pouch. Nap. Cuddle. Not need world domination any more, Mama."

cozietoesie · 03/08/2018 22:50

'Poland'. GrinGrinGrin

Ollivander84 · 03/08/2018 22:59

Oh he wanted his igloo bed Confused
Obviously I'm a mind reader. World domination after a quick nap

Cuddles usually gets them for a bit - just wait until it .......morphs, though. Grin

LanaorAna2 · 04/08/2018 10:14

Mr C and I held paws to go to sleep in the swelter. At one point I thought he'd gone to lie on the balcony due to the heat and stuck an arm out to check. It was returned with a bite in it. We both went happily back to sleep.

I forked out for M&S's new super double deluxe pouches which remain uneaten. He came in to check them out and stumped off. Slight atmosphere coming from The Box.

cozietoesie · 04/08/2018 13:31

......in the swelter......

I just found out the sort of temperatures you all are having to put up with. Shock

Ollivander84 · 04/08/2018 13:38

Not too bad here but I'm up north!

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 04/08/2018 15:04

Arrived home to cross howling cat
He spotted the roast chicken I was carrying
Sweetness and light then, complete with happy chirruping and lots of "ma-ma"
Hmm

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/08/2018 15:07

I hope he enjoyed his chicken :)

Ollivander84 · 04/08/2018 15:08

He did Wink

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 04/08/2018 15:25

And he's now bribed the neighbour to open the main door by meowing pathetically at the window with a paw raised
Neighbour "he didn't want to jump up so I gave him a treat stick and let him in"

Ollie - smug face, fat belly
