Just avoid it Allergic, if you value your life or your reason. My doc mate told me women faint from holding their breath.

Thing is, makes One a touch impolite - being reduced to helpless gagging in front of a stranger isn't terribly good manners Grin At least Mr C's never done that. He's a fan of Tactical Furball tho' - flamboyant retching at 3am.

Allergictoironing · 20/07/2018 15:34

Oh I avoid central London like the plague now, had decades of commuting in but now don't know if I could even cope with the HS1 in with no tubes required at the other end. People who live & work in other cities in the UK just don't realise what a pain working in London can be ("why don't you just drive in then?" arrgghh!)

Ollivander84 · 20/07/2018 16:50

Lots of rain here. Apparently turn the sun down didn't mean turn the tap on. Ollie is unimpressed with humans and their weather control

LanaorAna2 · 20/07/2018 18:06

Stuff the HS1. I used to have to go to Derby ie commute from KingsX - not that bad if you get coffee prior to boarding, but always 90 min longer than you think.

Am tempted to do a little rain dance on the balcony, shaming Mr C publicly. Clap Common is bald, yellow and scratchy. Pigsick of staggering out daily with buckets for the geraniums and washing the balcony floor down so Himself has a nice cool lounging terrace.

Allergictoironing · 21/07/2018 08:34

Oh lordy L, the trip from Clapham to Kings X alone can be pretty horrid - Northern Line isn't exactly the best!

26C here already at 8:30am, and I'm just outside the M25 so dread to think what closer to town must be like Sad

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2018 09:44

I'm being trailed after by the kittens Grin

Good morning my darling little girl!! How beautiful and good you are today!!!

Be careful of O, her lovely angel's hands are hovering over you to soothe and love you but if you scratch them they might not come back!!!

O - gardening gloves, they work. I'll post if you want, I've got a spare pair I never needed from Mr C. Nurse Lee has his own.

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2018 13:31

She's being very good today, lots of rubbing against me!

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 21/07/2018 14:04

She is clearly a kitten of exemplary character. Generally. She's trying to claim you as Her Own Personal Ollivander.

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2018 14:16

Face of kittens who realise you haven't brought treats Blush

!!! And your excuse was what exactly? Hmm

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2018 14:18

I had none?

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/07/2018 14:25

Errr like I said - what's your excuse for fronting up to said kittens treatless? We do know this is unacceptable, don't we?

Ollivander84 · 21/07/2018 14:32

Grin actually just off to get more cat food. Ollie has steroid hunger and is going through 3-5 pouches a day...

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 21/07/2018 16:58

Oh the poor starving kittens! Next week you'll remember [cracks knuckles menacingly] won't you. WON'T YOU.

Good luck at the shop, don't do your back in with all the treats, boxes, pouches, sacks and packs Grin

LanaorAna2 · 21/07/2018 22:24

MN netiquette:

  1. Post really good pix of adorable feral kittens looking at camera in cuteness overload.

Screams of joy echo round cyberspace for days ending in long discussion about snacks for them.

  1. Post blurry shots of lazy, old fat tabby whose thighs have creaked open for tummy rub. Include Before and After shots, practically identical as the animal has not moved due to overeating.

Kill thread.

  1. Remain convinced that old tabby is the most beautiful cat on the planet, tell it so while ignoring stolen packet of M&S chicken under chair.
cozietoesie · 22/07/2018 20:47

He's wonderful. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/07/2018 20:51
Grin

He is the best boy though. He eats better than me.

Asbo is still trying to get on the furry throw.

LanaorAna2 · 22/07/2018 20:52

That wasn't a hint! Thanks so much C, he loves a compliment. We both do, swollen with pride now :)

He's hogged a whole packet of chicken slices and not had a lot to drink. I am serving cool water as we speak, going down nicely.

LanaorAna2 · 22/07/2018 21:25

He eats better than I do too. Not through choice. Well, not my choice.

Is Asbo going in for primal rebirth therapy with the furry throw?

OldSpeclkledHen · 23/07/2018 08:08

Mr C is lovely!! (And I aspire to your status, as am catless 😞)

Just hang around here waiting for updates on all your lovely cats 😳
