Thanks, Lana. Good suggestions. Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/07/2018 07:20

Say yes to the dress is good too. Ch 38 on freeview. Especially the brides who insist on white as their virgins and want the world to know it.

American eyebrows are a source of fascination to me.

Ollivander84 · 18/07/2018 07:43

Ollie fell off the bed last night. He was at the edge all snoozy and rolled over so I could rub his tummy. The look I got when I laughed GrinGrin

:)

I daren't laugh at Mr C. He won't have it. Cooler last night so we kipped clasping each other.

Ollivander84 · 18/07/2018 09:34

He did clamber back on the bed and go "oooof" as he inched himself further on. Slept next to me

The sweetness. I love it when you wake up in the night and they are spreadeagled out for the count next to you.

The fact that you only woke up because you have severe cramp and a bruise from the bedpost, caused by not wanting to disturb the tiny slumbering angel, matters not a jot.

Does Oli snore? Mr C could break glass.

Ollivander84 · 18/07/2018 13:51

Nope, he purrs in his sleep though which is very sweet. And sometimes makes little chirruping noises

Allergictoironing · 18/07/2018 13:57

I tend to sleep better with the TV on very quietly. Woke this morning with the covers thrown to one side (still very sticky at night here) and Boycat doing a Sphynx by my feet watching the TV intently, I'd been woken by the tip of his tail tickling my leg. It was BBC News 24, so nothing that would normally interest a cat?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 18/07/2018 14:07

Keep getting well Cozie!

LanaorAna2 · 18/07/2018 18:06

Boycat has firm views on Brexit? :)

Allergictoironing · 18/07/2018 18:26

More likely a Cliff Richard fan, he hasn't got the biggest brain & I think his head hurts with politics. Sport, and wildlife with lots of action are his favorites - he loves Wimbledon & the cricket (and boxing for some reason).

A neighbour was worried about her 2 cats fighting each other the other day. Was there blood I asked? No she said. I told her if there isn't any blood then it's play Grin. "But but but - there's bits of FUR they've pulled out!". Is it bloody? If not, just play. Not sure if she believed me, I should point out that these 2 very pleasant cats are mostly best friends & sleep together.

LanaorAna2 · 18/07/2018 18:29

They're shedding a lot because of the heat too. When Mr C has a scratch on the balcony the pigeons hover waiting to collect the soft clumps as duvets for their babies.

Allergictoironing · 18/07/2018 20:15

My entire house is full of soft floating clouds of white/silver fur right now. Either cat has a scritching session & there's clumps of it left in my hands. It drifts around with the slightest breeze, and ends up in my mouth when I'm eating - good thing i'm not precious!

Are you still alive?

Ollivander84 · 19/07/2018 14:37

I am. That was his "TEEF! Look mama!" face

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 19/07/2018 14:43

Gawd. I'd hate to see him look really angry then!

Allergictoironing · 19/07/2018 15:15

I don't think Ollie knows how to be angry, he's such an adorable mummy's boy Smile. He's sooo sweet, much cuddlier than either of mine even though my Boycat looks a lot like him.

Ollivander84 · 19/07/2018 15:42

He doesn't do angry Grin
Only at the vets and by the time we are back in the car he's chirruping at me

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 19/07/2018 21:13

Mr C is getting better at 'more in sadness than in anger'.I expect PB has a fairly hard stare.

Ollivander84 · 19/07/2018 21:34

There are two cats properly screaming outside. One is the Ollie twin, the other is a never seen before not my cat
Ollie is sat on the window ledge doing ShockShockShock face

I had a thread deleted for complaining my sense of smell is so acute (menopause) that going on the bus makes me gag very rudely. MN said it was inflammatory. In mortification and misery here, not least because was sworn at by several posters. Sad

Worse for cats tho' - it was the sort of post that would cram Catsnet. Mr C sneezes pointedly if I've had a cup of coffee within an hour of cuddling him. He sniffs my breath when I get in to check I haven't eaten anything he hasn't shared. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/07/2018 09:50

That's awful L. Some people do smell awful, dirty clothes and dirty bodies.

Yuck.

Allergictoironing · 20/07/2018 10:23

As a central London dweller, surely the tube is even worse as there's even less air circulation down there. I'm quite short, so for people using high up grab rails I'm armpit height Envy (not envy)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/07/2018 10:29

Don't worry. Seriously. This place is just weird lately. Posts saying that a born man who raped a baby (with a penis), but who identifies as a woman is a woman (and some women are violent) are allowed to stand, but someone gets deleted for talking about the effects of menopause. :(
