I've got a Siamese cat. He was abandoned by his owner and is living in state - three nests made by neighbours - in our garden. He is absolutely beautiful, aged 11, and a white/cream colour, brown eyes I think. So far we have blinked at each other, me flat on face behind bush in garden.

The lady who feeds him is going away for 6 weeks. She is in a royal state of anxiety so I stepped in. Have been trained to do the feeding, leg massage, etc.

His history is shameful. He has been coming to us for food for ages, finally taken to Battersea, where his so-called owner collected him in 90 minutes. Then left him to starve. So you see I can't not.

Any words of wisdom? I need them.

O love - you've had it. They're not going anywhere. OK. Can you afford an extra cat/clowder of cats long term? We should start a charity

The Society for Distressed Gentlewomen Besieged By Cats and Kittens.

C - think of all the advances PB has made - it's early days yet, it really is. And we can see how relaxed he is getting from the outside, whereas you are up against it. On an additional upside, at least you do not have to lie in bed frozen stiff, being farted on, scratched, snored on then have the pillow nicked at 4am. Yet. :)

Fed NB last night, no sign, even tho I ramped up and went for Lily's Kitchen. I think the demolition might be putting him off.

cozietoesie · 05/01/2018 11:36

Has he been seen by anyone?

Lanaorana2 · 05/01/2018 15:24

Not since Monday. but I haven't checked today. The building noise is past belief since they started again in NY even the foxes have bolted. Will check later.

I just shouted good boy to Ollie for coming in the window just before I had to leave. He didn't shout back which is strange

You can see where I'm going with this. NewWaif sat looking confused inside and Ollie outside. Wrong way round cats Hmm

Lanaorana2 · 05/01/2018 18:28

No NB. Olie isn;t discombobulated is he?

How Pboy?

Put a paper collar on new waif, see who owns her.

They've been demolishing for ages now, how long do they need fgs.

Lanaorana2 · 05/01/2018 20:52

Three years. They're building a luxe retirement village to collect the wealth in London housing from the demented. The banging is so loud the flat shudders and pictures fly off the walls. It's ghastly and I am looking for somewhere else to spend days.

They should get the people in who rigged the trade centre. That came down in minutes.

cozietoesie · 06/01/2018 00:28

PBoy likes the darkest of his new mice. (I can hear him galumphing on the stairs.)

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/01/2018 01:29

Have you tried the sisal type mice cozie ? They are quite popular her ( although anything that allows mock killing in between real killing is quite popular).
Have you thought about how you are going to manage the kittens olivander?
What about little match cat? She'll feel so rejected and unwanted when you are night feeding kittens every two hours.
She's probably love the opportunity to foster ( in the comfort of your home, obviously) if NewWaif needs help

Lanaorana2 · 06/01/2018 11:04

O, is Waifcat Paws, not Paws with Balls?

NB food gone, at least. Gong in evidence at 6am. Mr C has eaten 6 pouches in 24 hours and is currently resting on the best cushion. Am going to try the injections for arthritis as the NSAIDs are hopeless.

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 06/01/2018 13:34

Nope!
Paws is black and white
Balls has white patch on nose
NewWaif
There is also random black cat, whisky, brandy and fluffy orange cat. I think that's it....

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/01/2018 13:49

I've been thinking of New Waif as 'No Balls''.

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/01/2018 14:07

So you are up to 8, without even factoring in the kittens?!!

Ollivander84 · 06/01/2018 14:16

Er. Yes Blush
Cozie will remember at one point I had a Birman move in with me, and that was before I even liked cats GrinConfused

cozietoesie · 06/01/2018 14:19

As I said. Grin

Lanaorana2 · 06/01/2018 14:48

Waif is back. Back again...

cozietoesie · 06/01/2018 15:45

Well of course. She's come home. Smile

Ollivander84 · 06/01/2018 15:50

Ollie is looking on Hmm

The adventures of Newerboy
cozietoesie · 06/01/2018 15:58

And not aggressively, I think?

Ollivander84 · 06/01/2018 16:02

Doesn't seem to be. Mainly I think he's eye rolling "annuva cat momma? You weird"

cozietoesie · 06/01/2018 16:05

Cats are ........weird. Maybe he suspects (from some weird cat sense) that she's upduffed and is feeling all protective? Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/01/2018 16:28

L Arthritis is hard to control in humans, are the injections cheaper over time?.

I would like to ask god what he was thinking when the human knee was designed. Terrible design flaw.

Can you imagine asbo if another cat came in? Even his tutor the massive black cat wasn't allowed near the patio doors.
