I've got a Siamese cat. He was abandoned by his owner and is living in state - three nests made by neighbours - in our garden. He is absolutely beautiful, aged 11, and a white/cream colour, brown eyes I think. So far we have blinked at each other, me flat on face behind bush in garden.

The lady who feeds him is going away for 6 weeks. She is in a royal state of anxiety so I stepped in. Have been trained to do the feeding, leg massage, etc.

His history is shameful. He has been coming to us for food for ages, finally taken to Battersea, where his so-called owner collected him in 90 minutes. Then left him to starve. So you see I can't not.

Any words of wisdom? I need them.

Lana watch out with the bloody torch.
Last time I used mine it did not end well. Cinders were involved.
Of dairy products, I should add.

Weedsnseeds1 · 04/01/2018 09:17

So olivander is fourcats now?
Congratulations on the new job!

Lanaorana2 · 04/01/2018 10:30

I abandoned the torch. Should have set light to Mr C's bottom instead.

He's still very windy

NewWaif is back

cozietoesie · 04/01/2018 14:19

Of course. (She wants a comfy place to have those kittens.) Wink

Ollivander84 · 04/01/2018 14:22

No bloody kittens. She is chewing the china food bowl Confused

cozietoesie · 04/01/2018 14:39

Ah. You've checked that she's neutered then? Smile

Ollivander84 · 04/01/2018 14:45

Er. No. But Ollie is.... so no Ollie kittens
I'm not very good with cats bits, do I have to prod her/him?
NewWaif is asleep on the bed, Ollie is purring on my knee

Lanaorana2 · 04/01/2018 15:18

I can't tell. We used to ask the postman :)

Well - if no-one tells Ollie about his ........personal circumstances, he may just come over all paternal. Grin

cozietoesie · 04/01/2018 16:16

Has she any (fairly obvious) spay scars?

(I guess that the vet will be able to tell you when you finally take her in.) Smile

Ollivander84 · 04/01/2018 16:34

Not managed to look too closely but I suspect female from what I saw

Mightybanhammer · 04/01/2018 18:03

Is that a patch of newly regrown hair on her flank, Ollie? Spay scar?
I love your bed linen by the way. Gorgeous colour!

Ollivander84 · 04/01/2018 18:26

Dunelm Mill beautiful birds collection! V cheap
Nope, that's a bald patch where she is overgrooming Hmm familiar

Lanaorana2 · 04/01/2018 18:56

Yes, Ollie would be a great dad.

I am saving Mr C's whiskers so when he carks I can get him cloned, it's only 16k and bound to get cheaper in the meantime. In the 90s I saved our first family cat Big Red's whiskers for same purpose having watched Tomorrow's World and they were burgled when I moved house.

I'm not so worried if Mr C's get pinched because in Battersea there is a small estate where every single cat bears my little prince's trademark beauty spot. He was only neutered when he got to the cats' home.

Waif obviously needs to chill and she already loves you. The wand chooses the wizard...

Tomorrow's world has a lot to answer for. I thought cooking would be passé now.

A spay scars tiny, you'd never find it unless you shave her.

cozietoesie · 04/01/2018 21:23

PBoy is giving his new mouse laldy in the top hall. (It has brown feathers - clearly the green feathers of the white mice were unacceptable.)

Lanaorana2 · 04/01/2018 21:59

He's living it large! He likes brown, doesn't he. How is he eating and sleeping?

cozietoesie · 04/01/2018 22:01

Much as usual. Sad

Weedsnseeds1 · 04/01/2018 22:44

I sometimes fantasise about culturing little black, blobby kittens from my boy's skin cells.
He must have been such a beautiful kitten and I didn't get to see it.
Thought it was just me Smile

cozietoesie · 05/01/2018 00:35

If he was looked after, he'd have been gorgeous. If not............

Ollivander84 · 05/01/2018 09:30

Good morning from the cats Hmm

Justonedayatatime11 · 05/01/2018 10:01

Ollivander that post has absolutely made my day!

Weedsnseeds1 · 05/01/2018 10:03

True cozie , I still imagine him as a fluffy black ball with eyes though!
NewWaif looks a bit ball like too, come to mention it...
Fourcats plus kittens hmmm... Tencats maybe?
