My lodger said the cat sitter isn't mashing the food up just plopping in out in one jellified blob. So of course the cats not touched it. Doesn't everyone break the food up it can't be just me.

It was a shock. He's frail but all there. He sounds like Sean Connery more than I remember. I took him six cans of Irn Bru (not Tennants!)

I don't mash food but then I am still having to hurtle it into the bowl from a height so frankly he eats whatever he's got

But surely if it's in a packet you squash it up with your hand maybe i have spoilt her

I squeeze the food out the pouch and chop it up with a teaspoon

Dh doesn't break up good. Drives me batty.

Mine only eats gravy versions - so they don't need breaking up. Can you text/ring and ask her? It's so hot that mine is eating less anyway.
I've decided to buy her a fountain (which will arrive just as it goes cooler again no doubt!) using the 20% off code I've got for Fetch. I'm almost voice-less with laryngitis - she is really confused!! "Smells like my human, looks like my human but dose NOT sound like my human"!!

Ours is spending the day inside, last night we were woken by Coyotes fighting in the back yard.

I think she is worried that if she goes out today she will get eaten.

👋 can we join too- this is my adopted cat George. He came to us as a stray and has been with us for a couple of months now. Softest cat I have ever known-he is a blanket sucker 😊 Today he has been recovering after getting into a scrap with another cat- he has a scratch to his conjunctiva 😥

Yesterday Snorg went into the garden ate some grass. (I don't have any grass in my garden), puked it up on the rug. , not the laminate. That would be silly. Then rolled round the room beating her toys up. Then settled down for a was and a sleep until she had to investigate the Dyson Engineer. Turns out she is the reason for the visit.

DKitten is now able to climb up on the bed, to lick my eyebrows.

Mine were in the huff with me for coming in late last night smelling of booze (colleague leaving do...) and so slept exclusively on DP
