Maybe he saw the Lodger as a challenger in the charisma stakes.

He just 'took against him'. It happens at times.

Flo is now senior cat because my darling Finn had to be PTS so the chunky little guy is the newbie. He is so sweet natured and loves people but no amount of schmoozing from him will sweeten her up. She even growls at him and I've never heard a cat growl.

As long as they're not actually fighting?

PS - The Lodger applied all of his best behaviours to Seniorboy. At length.

Seniorboy was having none of it.

No, they're not fighting but she will box his ears if he dares to step in her path. He just takes it poor love, he never retaliates (in spite of being considerably heavier than her). Sometimes he dares to lie on the end of the same bed she's on until she wakes up and flounces off.

They don't have to be best buddies, nice though it would be. As long as they can operate some sort of modus vivendi...........

they get along ok. She just makes sure he knows the pecking order.

That's OK.

He has a new favourite bed. An empty vacuum cleaner box, which is ironic, given the fear that the vacuum itself inspires.

Yep! It's local to me but it's called Finch Bakery, they have a very busy Facebook page. I did also get a baked cookie dough brownie but that went poof... somewhere...

OMG! I just looked at Finch Bakery's Facebook page and my mouth is watering. Why can't we have a Finch Bakery by us?! stamps foot

There's also a dog/cat Bakery about 10 doors up! Bad human forgot to go and get fatty some treats to try

He had some wafer thin chicken for doing sit and paw
