I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

You got the weather wrong, Alakazam.

Bad Human! Grin

Bogburglar75 · 26/05/2017 12:37

Yes, Alazakam.

BogCat has spent weeks giving me the evils for not having the decency to turn the rain off. Now he's skulking indoors complaining that it's far too hot to be wearing a Siberian fur coat.

wait till he discovers he is at the mercy of Nice Cat Sitter and shut in the house for four days over half term!

MycatsaPirate · 26/05/2017 14:39

No idea where any of mine are, they have all taken themselves off to cool down up the garden I think.

I just came through the house and found a ginger cat in the living room though. We don't have a ginger cat.

Ollivander84 · 26/05/2017 14:42

Ollie has disappeared off. Suspect he's hunting out a trampoline to snooze on Confused

Grin

Is he friendly?

cozietoesie · 26/05/2017 14:45

Sorry - that was with reference to the ginger cat. Wink

TheCatOfAthenry · 26/05/2017 16:49

Baby Biscuit getting big! Tried to jump on me like a Labrador when I got back from work.

Heehee! That photo is very funny cao [grin. They are both giving you the 'You've not only let us down, you've let yourself down' look!

HemanOrSheRa · 26/05/2017 17:37

Oooh Phineas is a handsome chap Wets. Gorgeous.

I've only seen my two when they wanted feeding today. I know my place!

Albadross · 26/05/2017 19:07

Prok that photo is hilarious!

cozietoesie · 26/05/2017 19:30

You're quite right, Heman. Grin

Vinorosso74 · 26/05/2017 19:33

Not wanting her photo taken! Vinocat loves the sun, if she was human she'd be up at the crack of dawn to put her towel on a lounger by the pool.
However, in her senior years the heat is a bit much for her. I keep finding her flopped in various places after overdoing the sun.

TheCatOfAthenry · 26/05/2017 19:35

@cozietoesie it is and he's still very little, but he's getting a fat little fuzzy bum and gaining enough weight that if I had kitten centile charts he'd be climbing them!

Speaking of climbing, he can now get up on the bed by his little self...

Soubriquet · 26/05/2017 19:42

Well it's been a week since Tootsie was moved outside. Litter tray, bed, food bowls the lot.

We feed her in the evening and don't force her in like I used to.

She hasn't set foot in the house all week but......she's so much happier in herself. She will even let dh go near her and have a fuss. Something that she never used to do.

So for now she's obviously a lot happier being an outdoor cat.

Just have to work out what to do when winter comes

cozietoesie · 26/05/2017 19:52

She may change her mind about things. Wink

roofio87 · 26/05/2017 19:54

My beautiful boy is called Rory. He's definitely come out of his shell a lot the last few days. I think he's desperate to get outside but only been with us 2 weeks and only come from a few streets away so want to keep him in a bit longer. He is due his vaccination booster next week and then I'll try letting him out. He's just wrecked one corner of our wallpaper, right next to the scratching post!!!

She might but if you get a dictionary and look for the word stubborn there would be a picture of her

WetsTheFinger · 26/05/2017 20:02

Soubriquet just get her a kennel. So long as it's sheltered from wind and rain then she will be happy in there. Plenty of outside cats survive, including my collection of farm strays!

cozietoesie · 26/05/2017 20:02

Grin.

I think you can obtain special outdoor winter housing - but I think she's in a shed already? Maybe all she'll need is some heat underneath her for sleeping. (I think you can obtain special reflective or insulating pads for that.)

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 26/05/2017 20:08

This is my Billy. He's a little gremlin. Despite being an indoor cat he is a flea magnet. He gets mad itches on his sides and goes wild biting it. He then falls off things. Dipstick. So tonight after giving him a 4fleas, which drive him cuckoo, I decided to bath him. God the water ran red with flea poo. Grim. But now he's lying on the sunlounger, moulting like a moulty thing, but happy. The hot weather is obviously my fault.

Soubriquet · 26/05/2017 20:10

I'll look into it

And yes she's already in an outbuilding protected from the elements.
