Help!
Went to walk dogs at Alderly edge . Our sons beagle has run off . A farmer had his shot gun out somewhere miles away and it's spooked her.
Spent 3 hours looking for her but have had to come home with the grandkids
Can anyone help either with vets numbers or Facebook
I'm not on Facebook
Grandkids are so upset and so am I tbh
We live 20 mins away in the car so are going back after kids are fed

Thank you @BewaretheIckabog , we are trying to limit the search party , but thank you so much for the offer.
Keep a look out though and if you spot her , there is a phone number to call. If you can get a photo even better.
Just come back, there is a roast chicken dangling in the trap right at the back and broth splattered around the trap.
Smells sooo good!
We talked about what each of was doing then no torches, no taking. Straight in straight out.
Slip leads now at the ready as she's lost her harness

Day 13
No didn't go for the chicken . But was spotted at the end of a drive very close by. She may of been watching us last night and it's made her skittish.
Having another maybe today .

Seriously. We have had no proper sleep now for 2 weeks. We are all shattered. Emotions running high. It's getting to a point where we have done everything we can , it's up to her now

Day 14
Lived up to my user name last night and drank my wine out of my mug.
We have all had the stand down order.
There are 2 traps now. 1 really fancy that closes when said animal breaks the laser beam !
Food /scent down during the day. We leave it alone at night.
Still on tender hooks for the ding of your phone at night so say cameras have been activated.
What is really strange. No foxes or badgers .
Does the scent of a dog scare them off?

I'd have thought there'd been tons of foxes and badgers up there, I can't believe the smell of chicken isn't luring them all in.

It hasn't helped we have heard that idiots are still going to the area calling her name and crashing through the woods.

Went back just to scent the area and change power packs.

Then went to the car park and walked the same route we did when she bolted.

Day 15
There's now an urban legend of the beagle of 2021 , who went on an adventure in alderley edge , running about with her ears flapping in the breeze. She's playing her version of hide and seek.
I now hate the smell of oxo cubes which always reminded me of roast dinners as a child.
