What's your dream breed?

If work, time and money was no longer an issue and you had unlimited funds and all day to devote to a dog, which breed would you pick and is it any different from the breed you have at the moment?

I have a beagle and much to my husbands' disgust, I'd just have an entire pack of beagles

I would have a whole pack of Newfoundlands

Pyrenean Mountain Dog. I’m not stupid enough to get one though . I have been lucky enough to know two, both adorable 🥰 and that’s going to have to satisfy my wants. I’ll stick to the Labradors I think.

Oh but also keep my bestest boy as well

Beagles, boxers, basset hounds, English bulldogs - love them all! But I guess beagles are my first love ❤️

We would have a bloodhound , a standard poodle and a clumber spaniel but as we only rescue I doubt I will ever get any of those . Our current dog , who is the dog love of my life , is a patterdale x and I would be only too happy to get another if that was what the rescue had available .

But I covet lots of breeds.

I have an old and a young lab
Both have been perfect for me. Easy to train, will run or walk for miles but really relaxed in the house.
If I was more adventurous I would love a collie but suspect harder to keep happy and busy enough.

Chihuahua. And I got two

Nova Scotia Duck Toller or a border collie. I love the intelligence and look of these breeds.

I am always astonished when people want a bulldog type or chihuahua type as I just cannot see the attraction at all but the world would be boring if we all liked the same.

Yep, that sounds familiar, lol. If I had a pack I would never let them off all together unless it was in a secure field.

I once read a story about a lady who lost her beagle in the woods. She stood and waited and about 15 minutes later, he returned with an entire pack of hunting hounds

A dozen toy poodles and a standard poodle for them to boss about.
They're on my what to buy first list when my lottery win comes through.

A pack of deerhounds. Or wolfhounds. Or both.

Maybe another black lab as a friend for the one we have 🥰.

I'm glad to see some love for Beagles on this thread. Whenever I've seen threads about them here, responses have always been overwhelmingly negative

I'd love a platinum blonde Retriever Lab cross and a red Irish Setter. I really want a setter. Everyone says they are such a pain when I suggest it. But if I had loads of time, I'd have one. And an Airedale.

Irish terrier, Irish wolfhound, airedale terrier a few Jack russells and a parson's terrier would do me rightly.
