I'm feeling rather sorry for some of the puppies.

OP posts:

Those two men who have Stewie really need to get a grip. A dog like that jumped on my dog's face and my dog snapped back. Of course it was all my dogs fault. Can you tell I am a bit sensitive??

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:25

I like Jack. Although I think in the background his Dad is helping

Jazzhandsrule · 07/01/2015 20:29

Terrible accident that Collete had, really feel for her but why is she trying to train her own assistance dog, with no experience!

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:30

Why is someone with no experience trying to train a dog!!

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:31

It costs £1000's to train an assistance dog!

QueenBean · 07/01/2015 20:40

Do Stewie's owners realise that he's not a child?!!

Terrible cover too - putting the couple in black tshirts along with a black dog!

QueenBean · 07/01/2015 20:41

Feel so sorry for Byron, his owner clearly hates him :(

noitsbecky · 07/01/2015 20:41

I still hate Byron's owners.

Jazzhandsrule · 07/01/2015 20:41

Yes and why does it cost so much, because it takes time and experience. The women with a disability hasn't even had a dog before, so it's unlikely she will be able to train her dog to assistance dog standard. She could end up in a worse position than she explains she's in now.

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:42

No they dont, they have already said they want to be proud parents!

babyboomersrock · 07/01/2015 20:44

I didn't mean to watch this...poor Byron. Granny seems kind - he'd be better off with her.

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:47

Interesting regarding spending time with owner - despite the fact she isn't good he clearly will really miss her. She doesn't deserve him tbh.

LouiseBrooks · 07/01/2015 20:52

I've watched both episodes with interest (and total horror). This programme shows very clearly that most dog problems are caused by useless owners.

I am really hoping that Byron especially is rehomed to someone who deserves him.

Whitegrenache · 07/01/2015 20:53

Did Colette and Lola just walk past trotter independent traders reliant robin!?GrinGrin

Whitegrenache · 07/01/2015 20:54

Apart from the confidence, how does Lola actually "assist"?

Becca1818 · 07/01/2015 20:54

I hope the lady with Byron is ashamed of herself with the way she is with that poor puppy.
And as if she said to her kids that he was going to the puppy farm in the sky. Outrageous.

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:55

I hope this doesn't give people the idea that training an assistance dog is easy....or that you dont need any experience

Jazzhandsrule · 07/01/2015 20:56

Eating my words, go Lola and Colette!

NickiFury · 07/01/2015 20:56

I'm glad Stewie is loved but his owners are ridiculous!

ILoveOnionRings · 07/01/2015 20:56

whitegrenache reading your comments was like an echo, DH said exactly the same Grin

QueenBean · 07/01/2015 20:57

The blonde lady with the big dog is lovely and very pretty, he seems to have a very nice family

Hillingdon · 07/01/2015 20:58

Hurrah for big dogs!

ILoveOnionRings · 07/01/2015 20:58

Do you think Byrons owner will have missed him?

BMO · 07/01/2015 20:58

Whitegrenache - I think her owner mentioned in the last episode about Lola being able to pick things up for her and fetch things.

QueenBean · 07/01/2015 21:00

I want to hit that horrible cow of Byron's owner - "he's not part of the family. He's a dog". "No I don't love him. He's a dog"

Many people do love their dogs and think they're part of the family!

I hope she watches this back and is bloody ashamed of herself
