I have it on good authority that they are filming an episode of Dr Who at Cardiff prison key words 'The Master's wife'!!

I'd certainly pay a good deal more than that to have my photo taken with DT/Aidan Turner. But of course my motivation would be suspect....

I don't think it's sad, but I can't do it myself. I get in big convoluted internal arguments about how they can't really enjoy it, and therefore do I really want to do it?!

I really really overthink things.

Not if the money goes to charity. In that case its your civic duty to do it in order to help the less fortunate, no matter how painful you may find the whole experience... [pious emoticon]

I'm wondering about the Verity Newman bit - because John Smith told Joan about Verity being his mum, but (obviously) didn't say anything about Newman, only Sidney. So are we supposed to assume it's just a cosmic joke or what?
