I just can't imagine anything obscene enough that MNers couldn't read it.

We're not exactly shy and retiring on here

serenity · 07/08/2008 15:06

I'm going to give up on that grin now I think, it's now inexorably linked with CE's teeth [uneasy emoticon]

TheLadyofShalott · 07/08/2008 15:16

Ten does tend to lick things to find out what they are made of - the wood in the library at the old Torchwood house to find out it had mistletoe in it, something plastic to identify it as Bakelite (think that was in The Idiot's Lantern)

It seems to have been taken up as a kind of theme in a lot of fan fiction - but then the idea of DT's tongue & what he can do with it does have a certain fascination.....

JackieNo · 07/08/2008 15:18

Oh please don't say things like that LadyofShalott. I don't need any encouragement (notice no CE teeth this time).

TinkerBellesMum · 07/08/2008 15:31

That's true, I had forgotten. But like JackieNo, I don't need to think too much about him licking things...

serenity · 07/08/2008 15:36

I should be doing something constructive....

lick

serenity · 07/08/2008 15:41

OMG Serenity - that clip. I wanna be that ice-cream .

SciFiFan · 07/08/2008 16:29

Did I say that out-loud!!

Have just read some of the thread I've missed. (I haven't been on for a few days). Does anyone know whether James Marsters will be back as Captain John Hart in Torchwood S3?

(BTW Serenity - thanks for the Supernatural stuff I'm off to check out YouTube).

TinkerBellesMum · 07/08/2008 16:55

There's barley going to be a S3 and it's going to be a week long (5 episode) arc which may cross over into DW and SJA so anything could happen!

Cappuccino · 07/08/2008 16:58

he doesn't seem to know about it if he is

serenity · 07/08/2008 17:18

Dog spit...dog breath.....dog tongue.... that's almost as bad as the tublady

serenity · 07/08/2008 17:22

It's an oldish interview, but the last paragraph seems to imply that it might be on the cards, or they've at least checked to see if he'd be interested.

James Marsters/Digital Spy Interview

serenity · 07/08/2008 17:24

SciFifan - did I link anything?

(we really need an edit facility on here!)

TinkerBellesMum · 07/08/2008 17:29

"Spike tries for the girl, he loses the girl, a monster attacks, he tries to defeat the monster and can't. But he wins a new pair of shoes for himself, because he can't fight any more and his old boots have given up on him. It sounds kind of stupid, but actually when you play the story out it's kind of funny. Joss said 'That's a great idea, I love it, it's cheap' - and it seemed like everything was set to go, but then it evaporated."

Sounds.... um... great!

serenity · 07/08/2008 17:37

Ooooh found another one , completely accidently of course!

Cappuccino · 08/08/2008 08:15

there's no way Marsters is young enough to do Spike again. Even Boreanaz was getting a bit ridiculous by the end of Angel and that was years back

move on love, while you've still got the cheekbones

OP posts:
TinkerBellesMum · 08/08/2008 11:30

I think he's probably on the edge of where he could get away with it. He doesn't have to worry about his hair colour or weight which are two features that would age him, he also wasn't that young when he did Buffy. Boreanaz did put on weight between his first appearance in Buffy and the end of Angel which was quite aging and he was quite young at the start of it.

Cappuccino · 08/08/2008 13:18

but his face is lined

It's not a criticism - I love fissures in a man (clearly, given previous form ) but it doesn't scream ageless to me

Wow, just been googling him to compare his pics. I've never really appreciated him till today
