Welcome the the weekly watchers 😀

I find this kind of programme easy to follow weekly - it’s gentle and I’ll look forward to it without having to remember loads. A whodunnit or mystery type thing and I’m not going to sleep until I have finished it 🙈😂

GrillaMilla · 13/02/2026 21:27

Thanks... just wondering why the living room was frozen in time, looked like 1970's

From when the girlfriend went missing at Christmas 7 years ago wasn’t it?

Are we allowed to discuss what happened in the episodes that have been aired? ie episode 1.

I have a question, something I didn't quite understand.

Yes of course

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/02/2026 21:33

Yes anything that’s been on tv. So far only e1

and yes I took it as he’s living in the past and why garden is over grown and house dated

maybe his beard is dated as well and if the do a flashback he may not had a beard then

Yes it’s simple but also has a lot in it and worth watching again to catch jokes

It had old 70's toys under the tree? and what were those things he put in there that came through the post I wonder. The key had Clea written on it.

Oh well roll on next Monday night!

Ooh maybe they recreated the photo when she went missing? I’ll have to rewatch it.

SirChenjins · 13/02/2026 21:39

I've just watched episodes 1-3 - absolutely love it so far. I didn't get the point of the 70s room either though - if she went missing 7 years ago then what's he recreating a room from 50-odd years ago for? I imagine it will become clearer in time.

GrillaMilla · 13/02/2026 21:41

It's very intriguing

It is a70s living room but why it looks like that hasn’t been shown yet.

BlueEyedBogWitch · 13/02/2026 22:16

I hope that wasn’t a spoiler. I don’t think it was, it doesn’t affect the story.

flightyfighter · 13/02/2026 22:16

I think he's recreating the image in the polaroid photo of her best Christmas ever and has even sought items online to complete the picture. They will refer to this again later in the series. Poignant or weird?

I think it’s poignant. I get the impression she wasn’t very happy/mentally well, and he was trying to recreate a happier time for her.

GrillaMilla · 13/02/2026 22:25

I don't think Clea will be as she seems

I’m not sure I’ve seen PQ without a beard , not in recent years anyway .
