I watched the first two and was losing interest.

The teacher was giving very strange vibes, were we supposed to like her ?
I certainly didn’t buy her being a primary school teacher.
The actress was giving a very Gillian Anderson breathy performance.
Not sure I will finish it but agree it’s the grandad up to no good.
But Grindr hook up man must have some significance too.

Harry Lawtey played a young Richard Burton in BBC drama Mr Burton and I thought his Welsh accent was very good. That was S Wales though and this drama is N Wales. The accents should be quite different.

What a load of preening nonsense. I gave up 3/4 way through E1. Fuck all happened.
Its just scenery shots and close ups of the teacher looking all mysterious.
I need a bit more life and action.

Half way through episode 1. Not read thread but why on earth does teacher go to tell parents their child has died? Surely that should be the police’s job?

Have watched the two episodes and really quite liking it. Not sure about who the killer is yet though.

I’ve only seen Episode 1 and was thinking about the drawings the 2 dead children had done. Initially I thought it was a hazmat suit but then thought it was a beekeeper’s protective outfit and didn’t Cefin have a bee sting…….
It’s slow and the cinematographer is having a whale of a time with the dark brooding shots.
I thought Kelly Reilly was married to Elon Musk but that’s Tallulah Riley 🙄

It's ok. Don't understand how someone sacked from the police for gross misconduct goes on to train as a teacher and walks into a job in their home village.

The locations are quite familiar to me so it's odd to try to imagine they're just driving over the causeway to and from the village, when in reality they're a good 45 minutes apart.

The story just isn’t grabbing me and Kelly Reilly is too glamorous for her role.

It’s ok but I find the redhead a bit much, the aggression to the other policeman.

And getting involved when not a cop seemed far fetched.

We’ll probably keep watching though
