Also the biggest blow outs on traitors are always the traitor on traitor spat.

I wonder if they'll clock it.

Good for Fiona, Rachel was acting ridiculously - gather round everyone I have an announcement! Big deal, she was a detective, she was also a crap judge of character and she’s on her way home now anyway so who cares?

And then to double down by saying she was just trying to help people - it’s called Traitors for a reason you daft cow, she wasn’t trying to help anyone but herself.

Fiona exposed Rachel’s pomposity and ego, yes there will be repercussions and Fiona might be on her way out but it was brilliant television.

Fiona exposed Fiona's own pomposity. I'm not a big fan of Rachel, she doesn't seem the nicest person, but Fiona's behaviour was unhinged there. Alarmingly, she genuinely does seem to think she's the Queen Bee, I don't think it IS acting. That (and some of her other behaviours) isn't "being mischievous" as she claims, and I don't think she was just having panto villain fun there. She seemed to lose control. Raging at someone else getting the attention. It's absolutely "get outta my pub!" narcissism. Very weird and unsettling.

WriterOfWrongs · 08/01/2026 23:14

I just caught up as was out.

I'm quite glad Amanda is gone, she was irritating me. I like Reece very much and am glad he stayed.

But I'm not sure what Rachel gained by telling. Amanda was totally wrong on everything, and Rachel knows that. So if everyone listens to Rachel and kicks out all the people the alleged detective was certain of, they're going to notice they were all faithfuls... and then notice Rachel, surely. - @OtherS

Rachel gains because it will take several days, at a minimum, for it to be shown by people leaving that Amanda was wrong. That time is crucial. More importantly, it would be perfectly reasonable for 'faithful' Rachel to have believed Amanda's theories should have weight because she knows what she's talking about. And she was passing on what Amanda asked her to, for the reasons Amanda gave.

Pusstachio · 08/01/2026 23:14

If I were Jade I’d be glad Amanda was gone and even gladder it was a harsh wrongful banishment after she’d been chucking so much mud on the basis of ‘you were the first person I could see’

DrivingGnomeForChristmas · 08/01/2026 23:08

I do not like Fiona in this game one bit. Her quip to Reece about being a bad faithful was a bit cruel considering it’s very obvious he is really feeling the pressure of the game at this point and as a traitor she knows for sure he’s a faithful so it’s just kicking someone when they’re down when it gained her nothing. (Yes I know Reece used the same line to …I want to say Sam maybe…? But it was warranted then) And the whole calling Rachel out thing didn’t come across as game play it just looked like pure rage at not being top dog and being jealous of her influence.
Would be petrified to have her as a MIL tbh 😅

Yes, she's just horrible - and that was a really stupid thing to say, given that if he WAS a faithful (which of course we know he is), he's actually done some very brave and self-sacrificing things. Unlike her who deliberately mooches around the swamp instead of looking for skulls. If Reece hadn't been so browbeaten he could have challenged her on this.

ContentedAlpaca · 08/01/2026 22:27

Rachel will have to give the name of a traitor as being one of the people Amanda picked. If they vote out a faithful on her say so then surely the game is up for Rachel.

The best way Rachel could play it is by saying Amanda told her Fiona was a traitor?

Then Fiona has to stand up and say she is a traitor and Rachel becomes the No. 1 faithful?.

Harriet may be the one who realises it was traitor v traitor? Apart from Jessie, the rest of them are as thick as mince when it comes to making their own decisions and not herded into their vote like sheep.

I expect Fiona will be warned not to expose Rachel with a parting shot......

The others are so dumb they won't even question why Amanda never voted for Fiona.

I still don't want Rachel to win though. I find her unlikeable and didn't like what she said after murdering Maz.

Although given they were tit for tat voting, some could think if Amanda is faithful, then Jade isn't...

NCJD · 08/01/2026 23:16

Just finished on catchup!

I can’t say I have really warmed to Rachel, but equally I don’t dislike her. She was playing a good game and I suspect her personality in real life isn’t far off what we are seeing on TV.

Fiona however is just awful. So so toxic. Hope she goes tomorrow.

You just know she'd be judging your shopping basket in the co op. While asking you to get her something from the top shelf.

Properly crying with laughter at that 😂😂

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 08/01/2026 23:16

Just caught up with the thread. OMG thank you to whoever it was who mentioned Dolores Umbridge. So that's who Fiona reminded me of - it's been driving me crackers.

Louielove · 08/01/2026 23:16

Pusstachio · 08/01/2026 23:03

And with half her family on the force- cross her and you’d just go missing, properly NWA…

😂😂😂😂

and she’d dance on my grave every day!

Pinkbox · 08/01/2026 23:17

Sorry if it’s been mentioned, my eyes are going tonight and I’m tired, but in answer to a few people re. Stephen. His partner posted on Twitter after episode one saying how proud he was of him etc. So not Sam,Jack or anyone else young and nondescript.

I love Amanda "I'm the big detective, I know what I'm doing", getting the traitors wrong and befriending the traitorous Brunette Irish Phoebe from Friends.

There's some sweet glory in there somewhere

Amanda - a glorious advert for the Metropolitan police.

misremembering that conversation with Sam. FFS 😡

God, yes!!!!!! I'd forgotten that!

they should urgently review all the convictions she secured 😬

TheGreenBow · 08/01/2026 23:23

I really like Sam, I hope he stays in a while/gets to the end. He’s also so much like Jonathan Bailey imo 😀

How does none of it leak before the show is aired? There are so many contestants and I’m sure they’ll have signed a contract not to say anything but any of them could accidentally tell someone or e.g get drunk and spill the beans and then the whole show is ruined. I’m amazed everything always remains a secret until we see the actual shows. Like if there are other relationships in there - why do people who know them not say anything as they’ve not signed anything? Just been pondering this and wondered what others thought!

Yes, she turned into Cressida Dick with slightly better hair.

I like Faraaz a lot, and he's flying under the radar at the moment. He may last.

Yes that properly pissed me off.

And it doesn't make sense used in the way she used it. If going by Sam's logic of the people who were out there longer than him would be more tired, then of course Reece would be more tired because he was in a cage for longer than Sam was. But Sam was clearly only talking about the traitors.

SwedishEdith · 08/01/2026 23:24

Fiona will be constantly posting on the street WhatsApp group chat.

Someone posted earlier about this being the first series with no ethnic minority traitors. It just occurred to me that do you think some in there are reasoning (privately) that one of the traitors will be an ethnic minority? There's no way you'd ever discuss that out loud but, I wonder if their own experience of watching the shows will lead some to think that way?

MagicMagpie · 08/01/2026 23:25

Funniest comment I’ve seen online this evening -
Rachel came to play a game of Traitors
Fiona came to play a Game of Thrones

More importantly, it would be perfectly reasonable for 'faithful' Rachel to have believed Amanda's theories should have weight because she knows what she's talking about. And she was passing on what Amanda asked her to, for the reasons Amanda gave.

But will they just keep on evicting them every day, because Rachel said Amanda said she was a detective and so she must be right? They'll presumably start with Jade, and discover Amanda was wrong about that one. How many more? And though they might just think "goodness, Amanda was a terrible detective" and move on, they might also start looking at Rachel and wondering why she made such a big deal trying to get everyone to vote for Amanda's picks. Now, if Rachel has any sense, she'll point out that obviously she couldn't be a traitor as if she were, she would have known that Amanda's theories were all nonsense so she would've kept shtum as it would have put a spotlight on her. But, even if she does have the sense to use that argument, will everyone else follow it?! Either way, Rachel's now in the spotlight when she really, really wasn't before.

Probably. They quite likely think the bbc will have made a mixed group, but would find that hard to verbalise. To be honest, I'd assumed they would too.

I've always thought that their contracts must state they don't get their appearance money if it leaks. And it's held back until after the airing.
