Someone did point out that Adam is being played by Barry Shitpeas from Philomena Cunk.

edit: named the wrong interchangeable

The one with the wonky 'e' key!

Fiona and Rachel are both Queen Bee types and there isn’t room for them both in the turret. Rachel was playing a good game and must be so livid that Fiona has pulled the rug from under her. Neither of them are team players though.

That’s a Marple episode 😂

I agree Mark was right on Uncloaked that Fiona and Rachel need to work out how to act tomorrow. Perhaps they will just avoid each other, but that will look suspicious too.

Quite. If they turn up tomorrow saying ‘it’s ok, we’ve made up’ everyone will want to know when.

Louielove · 08/01/2026 23:01

I’d hate to live in the same village as Fiona 😂😂

And with half her family on the force- cross her and you’d just go missing, properly NWA…

Even more embarrassing for Amanda, as he came over as much more astute than she did on Uncloaked.

I think its the same problem a lot of people going in with potentially useful skills find - they don’t map in such an artificial situation. Plus if you try to use them or explain them to people, not only do they often not work but you risk being flagged as “clever” which puts a target on your head.

She was wasting her time trying to explain how to use observations/questions in that situation. She would have been more likely to succeed by sticking to “he looked in a funny way, it must be him” which is the usual rationale in actual banishments!

You just know she'd be judging your shopping basket in the co op. While asking you to get her something from the top shelf.

Indeed. She could be Miss Symington instead of Mr, and Reece could be her object of desire.

I still don’t get why Reece hasn’t said how odd it was that Rachel and Stephen shooed him from the family tree painting.

Edited

because it’s been established that five minutes before they went to bed Maz and I can’t remember who else,
were looking at the tree and the fingerprints weren’t on it yet.

which in Reece’s mind would mean that Rachel and Stephen didn’t do it because they were there way before Max and the other person.

murasaki · 08/01/2026 23:06

I feel that Maz got a much tougher ride than Ross, who while nice, and sure, targeted, did come over as a bit dim. Fiona took against him from day 1, and I just don't know why.

TheGreenBow · 08/01/2026 23:06

ChocolateBiscuitsandaCuppa · 08/01/2026 21:58

Every single breakfast scene I have turned to my husband and said, 'I have never seen him/her before in my life' about at least one person.

Took me ages to put Roxy's name with the right person (who I really liked from day 1).

I asked my DD who Adam was tonight as never even heard his name til now 🤣🤣

I’m glad something is happening now that things are moving along a bit more away from the ST focus. I prefer Fiona I think but she’s not going about things in the right way although is clearly enjoying herself and probably knows she’s taking risks but doesn’t care.

If Reece is Amanda’s son I think he may speak up and confirm her previous job therefore making Fiona look bad to everyone.

I also agree with a pp that Matthew and Stephen could be a couple.

IVotedForYourself · 08/01/2026 23:06

I posted this after last night's episode.
But, now, more than ever - I'll bet you my house that Rachel had wished she had yanked down that hood - good and hard!!!

IVotedForYourself · Yesterday 23:27
Just catching up.
Did anyone else think at this bit after Fiona was revealed as ST, when Rachel helped put the hood over her head, she would've happily smothered Fiona with it...
🤭

OtherS · 08/01/2026 23:07

Poor Maz :(

Fiona really is unpleasant, but I think she really believes everybody - both in the castle and, even more so, watching at home - absolutely adores her. I'd be surprised if she survives this, I can't see that she has any foundation for her public suspicion of Rachel. Why is she so sure she's lying, other than "she was my bestie and she would have told me!" Hope we get to see her face when she finds out she was telling the truth...

But I'm not sure what Rachel gained by telling. Amanda was totally wrong on everything, and Rachel knows that. So if everyone listens to Rachel and kicks out all the people the alleged detective was certain of, they're going to notice they were all faithfuls... and then notice Rachel, surely.

Particularly I think someone in Amanda’s role struggled without the systematic approach and established heirarchy/chain of command.

Plus of course, the whole point is there’s little to no motive and the means and opportunity are equally viable for all players. There’s hardly any evidence and it was a bit disconcerting to see how certain she was of guilt in those circumstances- Maz certainly didn’t seem that vocal.

DrivingGnomeForChristmas · 08/01/2026 23:08

I do not like Fiona in this game one bit. Her quip to Reece about being a bad faithful was a bit cruel considering it’s very obvious he is really feeling the pressure of the game at this point and as a traitor she knows for sure he’s a faithful so it’s just kicking someone when they’re down when it gained her nothing. (Yes I know Reece used the same line to …I want to say Sam maybe…? But it was warranted then) And the whole calling Rachel out thing didn’t come across as game play it just looked like pure rage at not being top dog and being jealous of her influence.
Would be petrified to have her as a MIL tbh 😅

Faraaz is up for murder too.

I do think Fiona was miffed at no longer being in control and threw her toys out of the pram. It'll be interesting to see whether the others just dismiss it as Fiona being silly - the persona she's been creating- or whether they take her seriously. I think Rachel made a mistake making such a big deal about what Amanda said. She should have learnt that big speeches do you no good.

I know everyone is a bit bored of the relationship speculation but I did think when Amanda and Reece were both up, their reactions made them seem like they were related. I can't remember what Amanda said to him, but it signed very motherly. Then again, if they were, you'd think they'd make more of it.

It's certainly very entertaining!

Edited

Maybe Reece's real name is Rhys.

RedToothBrush · 08/01/2026 23:12

I love Amanda "I'm the big detective, I know what I'm doing", getting the traitors wrong and befriending the traitorous Brunette Irish Phoebe from Friends.

There's some sweet glory in there somewhere

timetogetlost · 08/01/2026 23:12

It wasn't that clever of Rachel. As a PP said, if she had convinced everyone to vanish someone that Amanda, as a detective, believed was a traitor... Jade for example, then Jade would say 'I am a faithful', and then Rachel looks like a traitor.

murasaki · 08/01/2026 23:13

Harriet and Jessie seem to be the smartest in the room at the moment.
