It is unrealistic and a bit.. well a lot.. daft.
FFS they have such opportunity to make it so good so why on earth do they have to ruin it by treating us like we are stupid as viewers?

As soon as (Nessa) was hiding behind a tree while watching the dog owners in the park, I totally switched off.
The wide open unsupervised medicine trolley in her hospital room with her shot arse and don’t get me started on her waddling around until being shot then running off after being shot while the other officer looked on adoringly… what shite.

If details like this are overlooked it bloody pisses me off for the rest of it.
Currently can continue with Landman because of this.

The more this is seen on TV the better, as far as I'm concerned. I have the same condition as the actress and am also an ambulatory wheelchair user, and I regularly get dirty looks when I get out of the chair to walk. Not all wheelchair users have lost the use of their legs

i don’t think so unless I got it wrong as Paige was the cold feet bloke’s daughter. I think she helped Aaron on the dna websites and he matches with all the other cult sons.

but not sure how she met Aaron in the first place as she only started doing drugs after she met him and he beat up the guy who raped her after they had met I guess.

Highly disappointing compared his other series. All over the place this one!

I thought it dragged on too long, and a bit unbelievable with the cult, which I did think would have worked better in Utah or somewhere. The police didn’t seem to solve very much!
Did like the ending though.

Aaron was utterly detestable even in his one scene!

I watched it , it’s ok/ good , was glad when I got to the final episode at the same time 🤷🏻‍♀️.

She is! And plays the pathologist in Midsommer Murders. She seems to randomly pop up in lots of things, she is great!

A PP mentioned that the book is set in the US and I think it shows, the gun violence, the apparent lack of CCTV, the adoption agencies , the overkill armed raid on the cult… I think they could have put more effort into anglofiling it… eg if they’d made the assassin murders all actually different and not gun violence and if the raid on the cult had been more British, so the two police turning up and knocking on the door first lol. Apart from that, all loose ends tied up except Henry!! Did I miss that??

I was gutted Ruth Jones character got ambushed and killed I was also like if she was previously special force and then a good PI how on earth did she allow herself to walk into that trap like any normal person would be no chance am I having you drive me out the sticks somewhere we meet in a public space.

i also didn’t understand why she made her put the phone in the glove compartment so that ‘they weren’t followed’, what difference would it make?

I gave up after two episodes. The acting and dialogue were terrible. I've watched one Harlen Corben thing before. I think it was Safe. I've realised they are not for me.

Utter bollocks. I look forward to the new one each year and theyve got progressively worse.

Ruth Jones' character would never had been in special forces. As another poster said, she was waddling around with that gun and looked ridiculous. Pretty sure you have to be fit to be in special forces
