Joe Absolom is just sublime to watch. I just love how sick and nasty he is and then there is still the frightened 8 year old boy when Celia lays into him.

Agree it's a shame that Ray is in no way redeemable. There's no way he would be welcome in the village when everyone finds out. He makes Joe Tate's crimes look like a bit of knock down ginger tomfoolery.

There are a few who shouldn’t be welcome in the village when it comes to light what they’ve covered up. Marlon and Rhona should be sent packing. Due to their gross stupidity Dylan was left for dead and Laurel has been playing happy families with Ray. The 2 half wits have stood back and said nothing.

This depends entirely on whether the actor wants to stay in the village. If he doesn’t, I reckon a murder suicide with him and Celia. Or an apology tour, a few angry villagers will shout at him ‘how dare you show your face! I’m not serving you, sling your hook!’ Laurel will read him the riot act ‘I had you around my CHILDREN.’ Ray looking all forlorn. Then he’ll save a horse/child/Marlon and by spring he’ll have moved into Laurel’s cottage and has a job at the factory/hive/garage.

Kev is redeemable but Ray isn’t in my opinion.

Ray has done such horrific stuff including letting Anya die from injuries he caused and then throwing her in a barn to rot until Bear wanted a funeral. There’s no way back from that.

Kev’s worst crime was trying to clobber Aaron which we’ve all wanted to do at some stage.
