I think Ray is irredeemable but I think he'll end up killing Celia when he snaps, she'll threaten Laurel and kids and he'll rescue her but end up dead. Agree Mary, ex investigative journalist, will be instrumental in the climax. I wish it would fucking hurry up.

I don't think Ray will be redeemable if, and it's a big if, Marlon and Rhona tell people that he deliberately ran Dylan over.

I was never a fan of 'Poppet' Mary but she is one of the very few in the village with a spark of intelligence in her eyes.

I saw Charity on tv earlier discussing the Corriedale episode on Jan 5th. She was very enthusiastic about it and said it’s off the scale. She said if you love one soap it’s incredible and if you love both it will be mind blowing.

I agree, JA is outstanding, can switch effortlessly from bully to vulnerable child in a heartbeat.
Thought it was a good episode and pleased Mary put daft Dhrona in her place. Waiting for horrible Celia to start spiking Laurel’s drinks next. What a shithole Celia’s home is, make Sam and Lydia’s place look like Ruby and Caleb’s!

When Mary first showed up she was awful and Rhona didn’t get on with her at all. Now Rhona is awful and Mary is more likeable
